To much of track action is happening again, so let's compensate with some on-track action.

Here's the best piece of racing (IMO) we had this past season:

^You'd think they could take more than one corner without pushing eachother off!

I'd say Alonso's pass on Massa at the Nurburgring in the wet to take the win.

What about Lewis Hamilton's pass on Kimi Raikkonen at Monza. That was something special!

That was a great bit of racing! Reminds me of the old-fashioned wheel banging of the '70s and '80s!

Some of the on-track action this year has been brilliant. Here is a list of my favorite moments:

Hamilton holding off the ferraris in malaysia.
heidfeld passing alonso in bahrain.
Sato passing alonso in canada.
alonso vs massa in nurburgring.
hamilton passing kimi in monza.
hamilton managing to hold of the iceman for as long as he did in china.

But the one that tops for me is kubica and massa on the last lap of fuji. It was a perfect ending to a great race. Duals like that don't happen in f1 a lot these days especially, so when they do happen it makes it all the more special. Just goes to show how good f1 racing can be when the focus is on the racing itself and not the court rooms and so on. These are the good and positive moments which the 2007 season should be remembered for. But unfortunatley that probably won't be the case.

Good list. I would just add Hamilton passing Kubica into the Adelaide hairpin in France. It was so clean it wasn't in some ways that exciting, but it was perfect. I't at about 1:20 on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gZs2crG0S8.

In my opinion the best moment of the season was the final Grand Prix, when Kimi appeared ahead of Massa. The battle between Massa and Alonso in "Nurburgring" was also excellent!

Good point. On the subject of the French GP you could also add alonso and heidfeld, who seemed to spend the whole race locked in combat. Several times alonso tried and failed to pass the BMW. But eventually he got him into that S bend towards the end of the lap. That was a pretty good and brave move as well.

Thinking about it mclaren and BMW have had a few moments like that this year haven't they. Also not forgetting the kubica and hamilton incident in fuji and kubica again passing alonso in brazil.

I like the lists here.

That video ioan posted is supreme (though not an example of clean racing). The other candidates are all also great.

But... aren't you all forgetting something?

Thanks for the vid, I never get bored of watching that. Isn't it interesting hearing the comparisons of the different commentaries. One of the guys on the american version was ecstatic about the whole thing. Unsurprisingly there's a bit of a difference with the spanish guys for obvious reasons.

Just to clarify aryan, when you say about not being an example of clean racing i assume your refering to the brake testing one in brazil. The kubica v massa in fuji might not have been as clean as it could of been it was great entertainment don't you think?

Lets face it, the drivers themselves were happy about it and thankfully the stewards didn't get involved which makes a welcome change. Especially after this season.

Not the cleanest ever fight, that's sure, and both replied with heavy punches (wheel banging I mean), but what I liked most was that they were both happy at the end of the race and none complained about it.

ITV's version:

(not as good as RTL7's and has a bit more Brit Bias.. but it's ITV so what do you expect lol)
