Just got back about to pass out, thought Id share.

Amazing roads and at points very hairy (all those crests)

Made pacenotes, a bit dodgy at first but got a great flow by day 2

Funny moment, L5/Crest into a Cow luckily driver was able bleed off enough speed throwing the car back and forth and we stopped just short of it. It seemed not to care and walked slowly off.

Scary moment, almost hitting a careless photographer at a flying finish long strait he had his back to us and was slowly sauntering off from the middle of the road as we came by at full chat. All I could do was honk the horn by the time my driver and I saw him and tell the FTC, who knows if anything was
done.

We were looking to be in a top 10 spot behind the only Irish team left (the O'Leary's great guys) when the trany gave out. Lessons learned and I got a seat for the near future out of it. Even with the DNF it was great fun most amazing roads ever.

Most surreal moment was during recce when I recognized the stage Diamond Creek from RBR they did a very accurate job of recreating that stage.

We were car 21 (White GC8 Open Class)

If you were there competing volunteering etc Id like to hear your stories
