Hi

I'm new to the site so i'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong area. I was just wondering if any of you would be able to tell when and where I can buy tickets for BTCC 2008. I was thinking it would be a good christmas present for my husband. Our nearest track would be croft. Do you buy the tickets for one race at a time or can you buy a season ticket. If I bought a season ticket, would he be able to watch races at other tracks or not? How much roughly would the tickets cost? Please forgive my ignorance on this subject, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

This has just been covered on the official site. Redshoes summed it up:

You're right, it's been asked several times before.

There are season passes available to officials, media, team personel and VIP guests but these aren't available to the general public.

MSV do a pass covering Brands, Snetterton, Oulton and Cadwell. That is for all car events, not just BTCC, so covers WTCC, DTM, A1GP, Gold Cup, FF Festival, and loads of club events as well. They haven't announced prices for next year yet but from memory this years was around GBP 200. Sounds expensive but if you are going to all 4 BTCC meetings plus a few other events it works out about right.

Croft and Knockhill I believe do season passes covering all events at that one circuit.

Short answer is there is no single pass covering spectator access to all BTCC meetings. As Marc says it would require co-operation between the various circuit owners and that's unlikely to happen.

And I think even if you paid for the tickets now MSV will not post them until about 2 weeks before the race

If you bought the tickets in advance individually from the circuits it would be around 20-25 pouns each.
