Top three positions are sewn up now after the first race; Dance leads Grindrod by 20 points, so Grindrod nesds to finish four places ahead of him to clinch the title. Seager is lurking in the wings though, 75 points behind Grindrod so if anything happens to the top two then he's in with a chance.
Interestingly, if Dance and Grindrod tie on points (Dance finishing two places behind Grindrod), Dance will win the championship by vitrue of him having more *third* place victories! (Both have two wins and four second places; Grindrod finished third twice and Dance four times). How's that for a close championship?
