So who's going to Rally Ireland then? I am so excited!!!

Also, how many spectators do you think will show up? I can see it being a traffic nightmare to be honest, but should make for a good atmosphere on the stages?

To any of the Irish forum members, is there alot of local interest?

I am going, and since the accomodation-part was really difficult I believe the pressure from both irish and int. fans will be quite big. I am hopping to be able to join som locals to the stages, it often gives more value to it all.

I'll be going with a group of 9 people from a Spanish forum. I've just paid my plane tickets and the accomodation is booked since August. I'm so excited, it's my first WRC rally since Portugal 86.

Much anticipation from local fans and event seems to be turning into a festival. Check out rallyireland.org for maps etc... See www.discoverbundoran.ie (http://www.discoverbundoran.ie) for accommadation. See also www.unabhan.com (http://www.unabhan.com) re. Boyle rally festival, and rally.ie. Finally see rallyforums.com for news and gossip.

Does anyone have any news regarding the park and ride to the stages. Can't find any info on the site but it does say there is limited parking. For access points to the stages the maps aren't that good so I was wondering what people had planned? I'm excited but with a tinge of anxiety over how smoothly it will run.

The only Park&Ride at Rally Ireland is for the Super Special in Belfast on the Thursday.
