Wanna laugh.... ?

Alan Gow of BTTC God and MSA fame was guest driver in the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup races last weekend..

He qualified last, was twelfth out of thirteen cars in race one and was disqualified from race two when the scrutineers found he was racing with regulation tyres on the driver's side of the car but had Dunlop slicks on the passenger side.

I've never heard an entire paddock burst into laughter before :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

He was practicing for that event during the legends practice session on the Friday of the BTCC meeting;

Obviously not enough ........ His lap times were slower than the XR2s... Still, I'm sure he enjoyed himself and will go home reassured that you can't get anything past the Knockhill scrutineers :p

Maybe he was doing a spot check as he is the big bod at the MSA to see if they did notice the tyres..
