How do you mirror stages? Will I need to use a cheat?
Yes, it does reqire a cheat. I think it is "tracksmirror" written backwards, or something like that,
Any cheat site should have it....

This time I'll make sure I do the stages right! Need to look up that mirror cheat.
Not sure the Skoda will be that good here...through the twisty bits it'll be fine but I wonder if the short wheelbase puts it a disadvantage on this event. We'll see...best get to shakedown.

FocusChampion makes CMR2 Championship debut
Driver FocusChampion makes this weekend his debut in CMR2 Championship. In CMR2 Rally Japan he is driving a private Focus 01. He know CMR2 rally very well, but he's never contest in a Worldwide Championship so far.
"It would be amazing to be part of the worldwide rally drivers" he said.
He never drived before in Japan, but don't expect problems. "No at all!", he laughed, "Japan is simillar of Australia. A little bit differenceand, but I liked Australia! So we enjoy this very much."
What can we expect from the Dutch crew. "Our goal is a good time. That is most important. If we get points, we have drink some beer. That would very nice on our first Worldwide Championship."
The crew want to contest in 2008. They found allready some budget for next year.

WC Rookie Contests Second World Event - wrc3f.tk news
BRC Newbie Will is taking part in his second WRC event this week, despite a disastrous Spain event, which saw him 8th in the Subaru after tyre problems.
He hopes to finish in the top 5 for this event, said to be one of his favourites.
He said in a press release earlier today," I like Japan, fast flowing stages with a little challenge in places. The Scooby is good, great car for this rally, and I can't wait to see how we get on."
The BRC driver has 2 BRC events and 1 WRC event under his belt, and he also took part in the Colin McRae Tribute Stages Rally earlier last month, which he won.

I'm not expecting much from this rally, and my position in the championship is pretty much sealed if I enter the last 3 rallys of the season, and perhaps even score a few points.

you PM your stage times to .... um...... ????????
NOR
25th October 2007, 19:57
The best way to post it, is fill in the excel time table and send it to jso1985.
If you are member of Yahoo cmr2 group, you can find time table there. If not, send me PM with your email address.
btw I wrote the cheat for mirror and nothing happend likewise. Do anybody know what could be wrong?
Will L
25th October 2007, 21:42
on the cheat menu make sure you press ok/enter instead of triangle/esc otherwise it won't accept the cheat code

as for the times, you can send me the timecard to my e-mail [email:1s54ciqh]jso_1985@yahoo.com[/email:1s54ciqh] or via PM(no need of the excel file, it's just to make things easier when doing the stage-by-stage results) either way you need to send me your stage times and day totals.

Will Completes Rally Japan ~ wrc3f.tk news
Subaru's rookie Will has come through the Rally Japan after slogging it out through 18 stages. He was involved in many different offs, including off road excursions into the greenery, into rocks and off bridges. Subaru boss Paul Howarth said, "Will wasn't pleased with his times, but we can only praise him for the effort".
Will said, "I am really annoyed. We should have been 10 times quicker than that and we were constantly down at the split times, which is so frustrating when you are pushing so hard. We made too many mistakes in the process, perhaps lost a minute in total for the whole event, we hit rocks, went into the trees, and we had a big roll after a jump on Leg 2. Not pleased. "

Marcel Haenen finishes rally Japan
This was a very difficult rally in wich we didn't get the car to work as we would like. We suffered from bad balance all weekend, which resulted in missing some corners and almost flying into the scenry at several occasions loosing valuable seconds in the process. At the stages where we managed to keep the car on the racing line, the times were very promising and we came close to several PB's. We need to win this rally and keep our fingers crossed that cyborg_hun looses more than 2 points on one of the remaining rallies this year.

Coca Cola team Ford's disastrous drive in Japan
A lack of time and budget forced belgian driver Juha to complete the rally with no recce at all. "It's impossible to set decent times. The only stage I know well is the shakedown and i'm guessing where to go on the other stages. At one stage I didn't even know if I had to run left or right! The notes are not detailed enough and are often late. We also ran a bad gearbox setting on day 1 which cost us a few seconds on each sage." This result might affect Fords programme for next year. The teammanager is considering to enter only the non-mirrored rallies next year.

Oz is difficult enough in non-mirrored arrangement. We had a leery moment at the beginning of stage 2, day 1 that made us rethink our pace. A 8/10ths-9/10ths rally for us, but our times are okay.
Along with the UK stages this one pays the highest dividends with extensive recce....
BRING ON IRELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess your lack of budget also forced you to send me an e-mail consisting of some weird codes but no timecard, isn't? :p :
Since it's obvious Juha completed the rally before the deadline, I will give him 24 hours to send me his timecard(thus giving other drivers a small chance to still run the rally, but I will publish teh results if I get the timecard while I'm still online), if having problems with e-mail you can always send it via PM

FocusChampion wins points by debute
Focus Champion finished by his debut on the 6th place and was the best privateer. "Wow! Great! Our debut and we scored 4 points and are the best privateer! This result is our goal, but not expected" we even close to other drivers.
It was not an easy rally for the Dutch crew: "This was very difficult. In one stage I thought it was a right hander, but it was left. I am glad we had a good feeling with the car."
FocusChampion looked forward to the next rally at tarmac. "Tarmac is my favorite surface, but rally with friends is difference than a Championship. It would be hard."
"But the first point are scored! I drink a beer!"
