Congratulations to Jase'. A tribute, I think, indeed to his endeavour and workrate.

And let us hope next season he finally wins the one title that has seemingly elluded him since returning to the BTCC with SEAT in 2004.

I can't imagine how desperate JP must be to win another title because lets face it in 2001 when he won it although he had to beat Muller there was no competition, even from Thompson!

I agree. But any award that recognises his achievements must be good for him.

Even though it is based on points I like to think he was known this season for his endeavour more because it seems no driver worked as hard.

Yet he has so much more to offer. Denoted by his new 3 year deal. I wonder if one or two drivers I could mention will be as committed and determined to put in as much hard work when they are his age?
