PG Andersson gets his WRC debute in Norway

PG will be driving a wrc car for the first time on a sprint event in Norway called Bjerke Sprinten on October 27. Bernard Kongsrud asked PG if he would like to drive a EVO 6.5 ore a 02 Focus, he chose the Focus so this will be his first time in a wrc car, don't think he has even driven a group A car before?

Except the Suzuki's he drove. Let's just say, not in a WRCar before. For experience a good car I guess, though he needs to do more rally's, if he would be drafted in to the Suzuki WRC team next year.

PG has been more than loyal to Suzuki so it would be fair he'd get the seat.

With two JWRC titles, it is definitely time for PG to move onto the higher level. I don't know if Suzuki will pick PG for next year but hopefully he will be able to put some WRC program together if Suzuki won't pick him.

i understand the boy need some wrc experience before jumping in one full steam ahead, but, if you think about the wrc era cars, which ones were the most successful? the ones that were designed for a particular driver. Gr.A Mitsu, 206, xsara, and to some extent the focus. if suzuki has got balls, they should do a citroen type of entry to this wrc. get a successful driver with great experience but who is not going to be on top for much longer, and have him bring PG up to speed and technicality. i'd bet there would be an increase in suzuki sales in sweden if they did that and he won a champ or two.

I belive P-G has to bring a sponsor with him, that might be a problem if he cant do that. Suzuki nr 1 will be a good experienced driver for sure.

The car PG drove is actually not 02 spec, it is 2001 spec. Former V2 FMC now re-registered as RZ 28256.
