I have enjoyed doing the British Rally Championship and the Corsican rally in the Ford Focus, and hope to be able to do the remaining rounds of this season in it too!

Next year.. well, I will be doing some testing in the Xsara and the Impreza later this year, but will most likely be applying for an M2 Team contract with Ford (if one such is available)

here's a rule change rumoured around the FIA offices...

next year manufacturers championship is scrapped and replaced by teams championship, any team is limited to 2 drivers but there can be more than one team using the same car.
and Tannat is rumoured to retire and become sideshow tannat and work for Bernie Ecclestone...

BRC Driver Is WRC Linked

In Motorsport News today it was reported that Paul Howarth and Malcolm Wilson have been in contact , possibly to organize a drive in either a semi-works Subaru or in the Stobart Ford team.

Will has said he would be very interested with the Subaru squad which will be lending him a 2005 spec Impreza WRC, but also has expressed interest in a Stobart Ford which will be run alongside Jari-Matti Latvala and Matt Wilson.

Juha motorsport linked with various teams

Teammanager/driver Juha has just confirmed his transfer to the PC version. "We hope to have the new goods here by the end of the week so we can start testing from next week on. This weekend I'll be driving the nicest car in the game, the Escort MK1, no WRC can compare to that." This year he has been competing with the Focus WRC but what will 2008 bring us? The Focus is a possibility but he has been reported to be seen drooling over the ex-galli 307 and the red bastos 206. More news is expected to follow next week.

North American Champion Could Be On The Way To WRC

Iain Johnson (In CMR2 world, not WRC3 ;) )*, current North American Rally Champion, could be on his way to the WRC. In a bid to follow in the footsteps of Travis Pastrana, Johnson may enter in a private car or team, unless an unlikely works drive vacancy comes up, and intends to run a partial BRC programme as well.

Current car is yet un-announced to the public, although several select insiders are in the know........

that's what we are going after in 2008 and onwards!, 3-car big teams are no longer possible so the FIA and me are looking for to fill the championship with 2-car smaller teams!

I've tested the Suzuki on stage 9 in Italy, it's quite good. After 5 runs I had beaten a my stage record (in a Lancia) by setting 3,08,06, that would have been the third time on this stage in Catalunya. And I feel I can get two seconds of that so might continue trying later on.

As for our teamname... how about Tajima Turbo Team? :D :D I think Suzuki Motorsport will be fine.
