Just logged on to check the same thing. It says on BTCC.net race reports that he was not hurt so thats good news it looked like a big impact.

I'm glad he's alright. I hope Mike Jordan ends next season without crashing into the barriers.

He's relatively okay, he was back checking out the damage to his car after about 15 minutes. He had his arm in a sling but other than that there were no obvious injuries. I imagine he's feeling a bit this morning though as that was a big impact, it happened almost right in front of me. I missed the actual impact but I turned quick enough to get a shot of the car as it bounced back out the barrier, I'll put it on my Flickr account later.

Poor chap. The car was obviously very quick there again.

Glad mike is ok. I suspect the cause was another broken wishbone? He was really hitting the kerbs hard at the chicane. I took a shot of him hitting the kerb just before the crash and his right front wheel seems to be at an odd angle.

Was is it with Mike and last rounds? He had a big impact in the last round last year too - at Silverstone...

Aye, he might have been independents champion (and a deserving one of that) if he was'nt hit with a puncture in race 1

Still, he managed a better overall championship position than he did last year, and scored many more points. Even though he didn't win a race, I thought Jordan looked more competitive in 2007 than in '06, and I hope he's as strong next year.

This is Mike about a second or so before his impact with the tyres . . .

I think he too too much kerb and understeered into the tyres, it was quite a hefty impact.

So ... does anybody know what the funny story was about Mike's crash that Alan Gow wouldn't repeat on TTT?

Doesn't look like he was taking any more kerb that a lot of others were...

Guess he was just unlucky.

I just realised I never put a link in to my photo of Mike's crash;

That was literally just as Mike had bounced out of the tyre wall. It looked like his suspension had failed as his wheel was pointing the wrong way before he even hit the final curb, there's a photo from someone else on Flickr that shows it hanging off. It was probably damaged in the incident he had at the Chicane earlier in the race.
