Yeah, I agree with RFS. The thumbnails are ok Cindy. I have no problem clicking on them. I have clicked on the first 2 many times. I keep coming back to them, great pictures. Harvick is also probably clicking on the first one. :D

MD, we didnt even try to get into the winners circle this time. My back was killing me and I just wasnt up for the challenge. We went to the garage area instead and watched them go thru post race inspection & load the cars.

I have had enough of dial up after spending 20 mins just to upload 3 pics to photobucket so I left and went to the Cableone store to find out what we need. Then went to Wally World and spent $175 on the stuff we were told we would need for both computers. Hubby is gonna kill me!! :eek: He is still asleep. :s

I asked him if we could switch to Cableone for our internet and he "if you want.. but we will need to get a modem, etc" Then I told him I already bought it. I about passed out when he told me I should have gotten a better (more expensive) router instead of the one I bought. Anyway... I have spent to whole day trying to get it online and still not working. (yes, Im here via dial up again :( ) I have spoken to the Tech support people twice and they are coming out tomorrow to see what the problem is. All I know is the send light flashes and never stays green and the online light does nothing. :mark:
I cant tell you how many times I have been under this desk today with all the tangled wires. Quite frustrating! :mad:

Gonna post a few more thumbnail pics. They are just not as clear though. We had our pic taken with Brad (cant remember his last name) the commentator. I didn't know he used to play with Carolina. Boy, he is like a giant! I know we are short people but we looked like little kids next to him. :eek: He really was a VERY friendly man. He will talk your ears off.

MD..... Im still using my Canon Rebel XT. Friday & Sat were not the best conditions for photography. (I still havent splurged to buy the nice flash for the camera.)

I was totally shocked about Brad's height. Glad to know there are others who had no idea how tall he was. They said he played for Carolina.... is that Tarheels? Did he play football or basketball? (Im assuming basketball) Look at his hands! They are huge! :eek: I noticed this weekend when he was sitting at the desk with Rusty that he didnt look much bigger than Rusty. He has really long legs so I guess thats why I never really noticed his heighth before.

I was really curious what Montoya & Jeff were talking about. Looked pretty serious. On the last one of them I posted, you can see Andretti watching in the background. So many of my pics are begging for captions. :p :

This was the first time we were able to get our hands on some motorcoach passes. We have snuck in there before but this time we could roam around freely in the area where all the drivers, owners, etc park their motorhomes.

Being an Alabama fan, thought it was pretty cool about Kurt Busch wearing an Alabama hat and then going to the Bama game. He realized when he was almost at the stadium that he forgot his bama hat so the limo driver stopped at a vendor and offered to go pick him up another one. He said "h*ll no, Im going too". The woman helping him had no idea who he was. He picked up several items and then paid with his debit card. He asked her if he left a tip, would she get it? She said yes and so he left her about an $80 tip. Thought that was pretty cool.

Daugherty was one of the greatest players ever to play at the University of North Carolina. He entered college as a 16 year old freshman and was a two-time ALL-ACC first team selection, and a first team All-American in 1986. Brad was named to the ACC basketball All-Time team in 2002 and was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. Brad averaged more than twenty points per game in his senior season with the UNC Tar Heels.

Daugherty averaged nineteen points and ten rebounds per game over eight seasons in the NBA and retired as the Cavaliers all time leading scorer (10,389 points) and rebounder (5,227). He played in 41 postseason games and led the Cavaliers as far as the Eastern Conference Finals in 1992. Brad was a five time All-Star (1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993) and one of the greatest players in Cleveland Cavalier history. As part of the Cavaliers 30th Anniversary in 1999-2000, Daugherty was a unanimous selection to the All-Time Cleveland Cavalier team.

Brad's career in the NBA was cut short at the age of 28 because of recurrent back troubles. Daugherty never played another game after the 1993-94 season though he did make one appearance in uniform for the Whoopi Goldberg movie Eddie along with teammates Hot Rod Williams, John Battle, Terrell Brandon, and Bobby Phills. After two consecutive seasons of inactivity, he announced his retirement after the 1995-96 season. His #43 jersey, a number he picked as a tribute to NASCAR legend Richard Petty (who Daugherty lists as his favorite sportsman), was retired by the Cavaliers on March 1, 1997.

Brad currently lives in Asheville, NC with his wife Heidi (a former model and Winston Girl) and their two teenagers, Colton and Brianna. His business interests include car dealerships and commercial real estate. He is also a college basketball analyst and NASCAR broadcaster for ESPN. He is active in many charities including hosting the Presbyterian Home for Children’s annual golf tournament, which raises money in support of the home, located in Black Mountain. He also has sponsored an annual scholarship to help a child from Presbyterian Home receive a higher education. At UNC , he has given to the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History and has served on the Board of Visitors and the athletic council of the General Alumni Association Board. He has also served with Andie McDowell as co-chair of the fundraising campaign for the Asheville Humane Society's new animal adoption and education center.

Following his retirement from the NBA, Daugherty co-owned a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team (Liberty Racing) featuring such drivers as Kenny Irwin Jr. and Kevin Harvick. In 1997 Irwin won two Craftsman Truck Series races driving for Daugherty (Homestead-Miami Speedway in March and Texas Motor Speedway in June). Daugherty joined ESPN's return to NASCAR racing telecasts in 2007. He is currently an analyst on NASCAR Countdown, ESPN's new pre-race show, and on NASCAR Now, a nightly newscast on the sport.

Brad Daugherty owns a cat named Max and a yellow lab named Briscuit. His favorite pie is rhubarb, which is how he earned his lifelong nickname.
