and what Wilding said under the rally that they are continuing in 2009.

But on the other hand PG has not been given any signals yet for 09.

But there maybe are other options for PG for 09

How important was the fine Japan result for the future of Suzuki in WRC ?

Anyone that knows what their 09 plans are, and if they still are working on a S2000 Project ?

My optimistic view is that Suzuki will continue in 2009. I think this season so far hasn't probably gone the way they expected but on the other hand, they probably didn't expect to win a title or even a rally. Stopping here will throw away all the effort they've put since JWRC era, so I believe, and I want to believe, that Suzuki will continue in 2009. Here in Japan, Suzuki is using their WRCar in TV commercials now, so I can see they are trying to follow the similar way as Subaru and Mitsubishi.

The only concern about their future involvement is not Suzuki but General Motors, I think.

Could he maybe be one of the names in line for one of the Subaru teams? If Adapta can't find another norweigan driver who is good enough, why not take a Skandinavian one?

I hope he stays at Suzuki. They are getting better and better. I would say they were on the same level as Subaru in Japan, may be faster.

Without PGs puncture, Loeb wouldn't be champion now :D

Japan is hardly indicative about car performance. In such muddy conditions there is no as big differencies between cars as usually. Consequently crap cars like Suzuki and Subaru were better than normally in Japan.

I don't know but Suzuki felt like the new Skoda from the very beginning, and even though they haven't done very well I dont mind!!! LOL I love how that little yellow SX4 looks! A few years ago the Fabia was my favorite wrc and now its the SX4. Im sure there's a few others that think the same! just check this website! they have very nice pics http://www.suzukisport.com/wrc/e/p-v/index.html

Hope they do some testing during the winter and get some decent results on 09
