View Full Version : Acceptable behaviour ??

Does this come under acceptable behaviour in this forum?

LOL! Oh, in the vein of Kubica, another arse.

How is that my shortcoming... I'm just an observer, or are all these so personal to you? True Ferrari and Kimi have had their own problems this year, but the luck of Alonso is enormous. And to have a guy just move over for you, then figure out, 'hey, I'm in this race too...' and finish 2.8 seconds behind you... well it's just weak. It really hurt my respect for Kubica, and wasn't a smart move as he even belatedly figured out.

Those gifts always seem to come to Alsono. Like the gift the stewards gave Hamilton when the lifted him back on track...

So yes, it's one thing when you screw the pooch on your own, but another when someone else just rolls over like a puppy, like Kubica did.

For your information, the "report post" function doesn't work.

The "Report Post" function DOES work.
(It's the verification that isn't working)

I see that it is in :
Post: KImi's only way to win the championship. (http://www.motorsportforums.com/forums//showthread.php?p=365072#post365072)
Forum: Formula 1

I see your point, I'm sure one of the Formula 1 moderators will look into it.

OK!! the thing is, after I report a post, I get a non-working web page. :s :

Yep, it goes to the dreaded blank page.
I don't know why it does that but the good thing is the reported posts get reported. :D

Well, I take it that this sort of obscene and attacking another forum member behaviour is acceptable because that post is still there.

So, what's the point of us reporting such behaviour?

Apparently mods have been busy with other chores, such as work and haven't had the time or the energy to take action yet other than locking up the thread in question.

Valve Bounce, I hesitated to act, I apologize for the delay.
I'm not assigned to the Formula 1 Forum but ...
because everyone is busy, I cleaned up the thread & re-opened it.
If I missed anything, let me know.

I hope I haven't stepped over any invisible border.

The fellows are having a good debate & that is the purpose of a forum IMO.
They just need to resist making personal attacks.

janneppi made the right decision by closing that thread, there was no need for more actions :)

Oh well, I was trying to help out.

Trouble's brewing in the mod area? Join us in next week's episode: "who deleted the Nascar section" and watch as our young mod tries to find the culprit.

If something happens to the NASCAR forum I hope it isn't my fault ...
I keep wondering what the red button that says "DO NOT PRESS" is for ... ;)

Sometimes certain members sneak under the radar to make objectionable posts, and I am glad the mods are here to stop that sort of nonsense. Thanks guys.

I just wish the mods would do something about that "Oily On A Friday Night" filth.
It's enough to make yer hair curl some of it

BAN HIM! BURN HIM! BURY HIM! with his legs in the air.

oily mate, are you asking for a ban ?

Yes mate.
Somebody has to make a stand against this type of disgusting behaviour

BURN ME! BAN ME! BASH ME! BURY ME! and bring back a modicum of decency to what was once a noble and family friendly bulletin board ;) .

PS Have you heard the one about the priest's girlfriend and the mountain gorilla? :monkee:

Have you heard the one about the priest's girlfriend and the mountain gorilla?

If it's the one with the boa, ketchup and a large bucket, I'll send you the DVD :)

Admitedly, I'm trawling here, but what was so offensive in that first post?

Never felt the need to report anyone, no matter what is chucked at me - I am big enough and ugly enough to ignore it.

The consistency on forum modding sometimes is worse than your average F1 stewarding pool.

Just my few penceworth..............
