Why is the Erkut Astra a possible? I read on another site that he was looking forward to the meeting - meaning he would be there surely? Or have I missed something?

I did wonder why Rob was lurking around the WTCC paddock the other weekend. Must have been doing some networking with GR Asia.

Glad to see Rob Collard back but why isn't Gavin Smith racing? Was the deal not for Thruxton or has he been replaced?

Great to have Rob Collard back. I do wonder what happened with Gavin Smith, he was doing a good job, maybe a cash short fall?

Great to have Rob back! He won't be afraid to overtake and cause some action.

Great news that Rob is back! He didn't have a great 06 but Im sure he will do great in the Leon.
Gavin should of done alot better in a top racer like the Leon though so maybe GR were left a little dissapointed?
Really looking forward to thruxton!

Anyone know what happened to Pocklington btw?

One more thing, how many drivers have we had this year? Must be over 30.

By my reckoning ,we will have had 33 drivers on the grid once Thruxton finishes.

Now we will see what Rob can race like in a top car. I think he will shine. No reason for him not to.

I think he did very well considering he said he had been brought in right at the last minute, and had no previous experience with the car. I should've asked why Smith wasn't racing but forgot .

That is a really healthy number for these rounds. I hope that there won't be any 'wipe outs' a la Brands Hatch.
