good list - not so sure about Mutoh and Lloyd being quite so high on the list - but it is great that IPS is moving drivers (apparently good ones at that) into the IRL...

Anyway, who is Sarah O'Gara?? (should I feel stupid and/or out of touch??)

She had been the IRL's most popular driver for many years before Danica showed up.

ok, I am continuing to be stupid here I guess - so Sarah Fisher is now part owner of a team?? I thought I kept up on news fairly well, but I missed that one.....

Not official yet but she is preliminary inquiries about starting her own team. I

think it's the only way she will have a ride next year. She does have a lot of

personal endorsement money independent of D & R Racing. Whether it's

enough is the question. I know if she did start her own team. It would be

ovals only andshe would skip the road and street courses. By all accounts she

is an awesome person and a good driver so I wish she is successful.

Doing only the ovals would eliminate the 1.2 mil IRL money, wouldn't it?

Yes.

Yes, but she could always put one of many road racers in the car for those events and not lose the money.

(I would have to question who would be willing to sponsor a driver with a known significant weakness, who seems unwilling or unable to improve and adapt.)

whats your problem with jeff simmons? you really care about that way too much. pretty much every post you put on here talks about how much you dont like him. not normal. he was ***** over and you're happy about it. you must have been one of his crew members or something.
