Looks like Franchitti to Talladega ARCA race is a "done deal". :D

Yes, I agree Jacques Villeneuve SHOULD run the ARCA race BEFORE getting into a Cup car ...
especially at Talladega !!!

can you imagine Franchitti, Montoya, and Stremme on this team?

Could be good, especially for further international interest of NASCAR.

Hey, Dario, lobby hard for some races at Corby & Lausitz. :D :D

Don't you mean Sorenson, not Stremme ;) Stremme's the one that Franchitti is replacing. Anyway good to see a Brit in NASCAR.

That would've been a much better idea than what's actually going to happen.

Well Franchiti is starting on the right foot was 6th in qualifying, followed closely by that other "newbie" Scott Speed in 7th.

Just found the info, 17 cars DNQ'd and people think getting into a Cup race is tough. ;-) Wish the race was on a channel I get.

So are Coors sticking with Dario?

Would be nice if Dario had Texaco considering its a more recognisable brand name than Coors. Oh, and the black base livery, Texaco sign, yellow Havoline on the quarter panels has some history behind it.... Davey Allison RIP

I wanted a replica JPM racesuit/jacket, now I'm not so sure now with Dario now onboard.

I want to get it, but the parents don't want too

Comcast is the biggest joke of a company, the internet service is terrible, and the cable (well we lose more and mor channels and pay for more)

Since you have a job, Why don't you pay for the upgrade? :)

I'm already paying my dad back 2 large from my broke down truck, so I'm currently paying over 600 dollars a month of car payments, and I owe another 500 next month for auto insurance :mark:

NASCAR’s newest face – reigning Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series champion Dario Franchitti – is poised to make his Busch Series debut in Memphis on Oct. 26-27at the Sam’s Town 250.Franchitti participated in a closed test at Memphis Motorsports Park in an ARCA car on Oct. 17 with new teammate Bryan Clauson, and is expected to pilot the No. 42 Dodge for Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) in what would be his third stock car race since joining the organization. While all signs point to Franchitti racing here, the track does not receive its official entry list until Tuesday (Oct. 23) of race week. NASCAR returns to Memphis Motorsports Park on Oct. 26-27.

As for Chip being a so called super team in the likes of JGR,Hendrick and Roush, wait a long time, but there well be good results.
