Respect

I have moved to a new level of respect for the drivers of F1, GP2 etc...
I was lucky enough to be photographing some race cars today and at the end of the day they offered to take me for a drive in one...
The car I was shooting is called a Radical SR3...
Only a 1300cc Suzuki bike engine weighing 440kg in total but and absolute rocket and went around corners like I couldn't imagine. insane late braking and huge acceleration...
and then you think what a F1 car can do or even the GP2 cars....
RESPECT!!!!

I bet that 1300cc engine had more power than the old Climax 1.5l F1 engine which had 154 BHP.

Im not sure how much power they put out...
but it was enough for me to start organising a group to use these cars for the day... :)

I think it a stock engine put about 156hp at the rear wheel, the 1340cc engine on the 2008 model has about 180hp at the rear wheel
