The event will done on Colin McRae Rally2.0.

Single Stages mode in the Subaru Impreza. (Colin's Title winning car ;) )

We will use the the UK SuperSpecial stage for the shakedown. You have 5 runs at the SuperSpecial. You can post the times from your 5 runs in this thread. The times from the shakedown will NOT count towards the overall standings.



This is the important stuff.

UK single stages on expert.

Stage3- Dry
Stage4- Drizzle
Stage5- Storm
Stage6- Storm
Stage7- Drizzle
Stage8- Dry
Stage9- Dry
Stage10-Dry

After each stage write down your time carefully. Private Message me your individual stage times. Don't submit stage times in this thread.

Points will be allocated after each stage.
1st - 20pts
2nd - 16
3rd - 14
4th - 12
5th - 11
6th - 10
7th - 9
8th - 8
9th - 7
10th- 6
11th- 5
12th- 4
13th- 3
14th- 2
15th- 1

This means that you can still be included in the final results if you don't complete every stage.

I think I'm driving a bit too conservative. More like Richard Burns rather than Colin Mcrae. :\

I think that using the single stage mode means that we can drive 'all out attack' (like Colin did) without having to worry about damage for the next stage.

True, in the spirit of the Game, if you DNF thats it, You cant restart the stage. If you lose time because you spin/ hit tree/ wall etc you cant restart or we'd all be as good as Marcel! No if you stuff up, well it happens.

Finished our stages in the wee hours. The Subaru was a fun drive, although we overboosted the steering a bit on some stages (about +1 or +2 seemed best).

Hoping to nab a few stages, but expect the Bolivian to be fast here...

Awful rally. Had a test out in single rally, not liking some of those stages. 5 and 6 are particularly bad.

Rally went better than expected and I actually enjoyed Stage 5. Stage 6,8 and 10 were utter horrors though, nasty stages.

I'm hoping to be around mid-table of the competitors.

Yes, wood stages are pretty difficult.

It's very clear that I have almost never driven SS6. :D

I love those first 5 stages, I know every corner by heart. After that i's a bit worse but i'm satisfied with it. Certainly as that car is an understeering pig. :p

(and i'd probably be faster in the Mini :D )
