Is it just me or does James Blunt have an acutely irritating voice? :mark:

Oh not just that, he has an iritating lack of talent as well.

I don't think his voice is particularly annoying, but he is rubbish.

Whiny and irritating, and a fine example of how rhyming slang evolves so quickly these days.

The most irritating voice in pop is Luke " honking swan " Pritchard from The Kooks. I prefer the sound of nails on a blackboard.

Someone was trying to tell me he was former-SAS. Which I find hard to believe with that high pitched voice.

It's true though...... you should hear a radio interview. You just want to cause him bodily harm when you hear him :mark:

I hate the guy from Maximo Park, he tries so hard to have a regional accent when he sings that it's painful.

It's not just the Bluntbeast's actual voice, it's his pronunciation of some words that is really horrible.
And his rubbish songs as well...

To put it bluntly, feck up you people! I like James Blunt! :s mokin:

And yes, that one song I heard once(I think it was him...) made my ears feel quite good.

A band from round here parodied Maximo Park, The Futureheads...etc with their song "Singing in an Accent".

Can I go against the grain and say I like James Blunt. Well I like his songs untill they get radio overkill. Then I'll just switch the channel whenever his songs come on.

The same applies to Take That songs also.

"Your beautiful. Your beautiful... that's true"

They play a radio at the gym I go to, and whenever his song comes up, either everyone leaves, or they start talking really loud.

His voice is whiney and his music is pretty bland to boot. Nasty combination.

Where is Mr. Blunt from?

Gosh, everytime I think of his name, I think of someone smoking dope. Another reason to hate the guy.

Wiltshire.

Wiltshire.

So that explains why he is not played much here. He is a bad singer, not from the US.

He did get a number 1 though in the US

his voice reminds of a turkey :mark:
but I thinks some of his songs are actually quite good, he's still better than his cheap imitators like Daniel Powter or James Morrison(another one with turkey voice)

That's because 'You're boot-i-ful'. *

He's bland but I don't get bothered by him. I guess I don't listen to the radio in the day and hear constant replays though :\

*PS UK joke about turkey products.

Shame, the idea of the song had so much potential :)

Although, I'm glad I'm not the only one to be annoyed by it :p :
