Motorfest now Ovalfest?

Read today that the karting arena due for this weekend has now been cancelled. I also seem to remember the rallying went the same way.

So, are we down to oval racing only this weekend?

It's probably not cancelled then, they're just not running for points or sommat ;)

lack of entries is cited as the reason. only 25 received when 100+ were needed to make the event pay. too late a launch is blamed as team budget are already allocated.

Could anyone who was there today (sat 15th) confirm that there is no grass track & karting or not ?
Going tomorrow would just like to know thanks.

There was grass track racing today and will be tomorrow starting at 10am. The karting was for public use at £10 a time.

Oh nice one may have to get there earlier now. Where was the grass tracking out of curiosity ? Is it walking distance from the main Oval.

They said it was a 5 minutes walk from the back of turn 1 grandstand, though I didn't personally see it.

Looks like its at the back of turn one, on the way to the shelton road entrance/exit.
