Just watched high lights from INDY RACING LEAGUE,
DARIO FRANCHITTI wins the last race on the last lap to win the championship, fantastic news and having met him a few times at rockingham, A well deserved champion, complete with INDY 500.
Couldnt happen to a better person......well done.
Rumor has it that he,s partnering JAUN PABLO MONTOYA in NASCAR next year........WOW.

I stayed up Sunday night to watch the IRL and was pleased to see Dario win, i can remember the good old days at Rockingham when Dario won the CART race and when he was behind me in the grandstand spotting for his friend in the ASCAR race.

Yeah, that weekend when Dario won at Rockingham was brilliant. I remember all the portacabins behind the garages where all the teams and drivers were. Every team and driver was approachable, all were willing to answer questions and sign autographs. .......Brilliant!!
