The results of some campaign to find the UK's favourite word have been published today — http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/6983873.stm

So, what are yours? I would nominate 'popinjay'.

Having worked in the building industry for a year now I'm finding that the word c*** (yup, the naughty one) has pretty much become standard vocabulary. E.g "That ****'s a ****" or "that ****ing hurt that did".

Mind you it's not big or clever so I'm trying to tone it down a bit (still like saying it every now and then though, ya **** ;)
