Forget the people in glass houses syndrome. The size of this weekends grid on both sides of the Atlantic demonstrates the seriousness of the dilemma we used to call Indycar racing. I wonder how many fans will show up?

Weefly, you are in error. If you are referring to the fact that only 17 cars took time in the second practice session, it's because AJ Foyt IV had engine trouble and missed the whole session. He took part in practice I.

As far as fans, it will probably be a smashing success, because Penske is promoting it, and he'll do everything he can to make the event a success.

I think 18 for the start was more acceptable than 20 when you factor in how the +2 were driving.

Glad to see Champ Car trolls on an IRL forum....kind of makes me think a merger is closer....same people saying the same crap on two different forums....togetherness is a weird thing....
