There is speculation in AR1's Rumors section that the IRL might expand its schedule in 2009, and thus provide a means of returning to MIS (per John Griffin).
I'm surprised that the IRL would be talking of expanding the sched when supposedly it was at ABC's request that it be shortened to avoid competing with the NFL.
Has anyone else heard this rumor?
