I agree, got to say it's a better livery than Blanckley had. Hope it goes well with those go-faster stripes!!

Looks better than Blanckley's. Was there much to see today? I drove past, but didn't bother going in as Friday's usually the day when people are going about and there's some ontrack action.

iain, not much to see at all tbh, just popped up as it's only a couple miles from home. i'll be up tomorrow from lunch time onwards to watch some of the free practise sessions.

Matt's car was in the truck and from what i could see there was no livery on it yet.

Recalling Robertshaw Racing will be making their debut has just reminded me.

Last week sometime me and my old dad came back from a day out at Hartlepool Marina.

Returning up the motorway at a point close to home I saw what I am sure was Mercedes Benz Viano which was fitted out to accomodate passengers. A small logo at the bottom of either the rear window or the boot near to the bumber was the "Robertshaw Racing" logo. The van was driving through Washington.

Does anyone know if the team was around the area last week? It seems unlikely someone not connected to the team would carry the logo of the very team making their debut in the BTCC.

it's highly likely as they are based in the North East of England.

Based in Newcastle I see from BTCC-racing.com.

I also see that they have decent backing. Warren Hughes no less as an advisory role.

Shame Warren won't be racing next season even if the team is able to bring in a second car. What with neither being likely I suppose.

Thought they wouldn't have time to paint it ;)

Matt's car is painted, just no vinyl applied yet, the offside rear door has been saved from the brands wreck and is fitted and has vinyl still.

anyways all looking good for them. was up there today, nothing else to note really apart from a couple of things in the support races. Mark Hunt is having a run out in a R class Leon and Ray McDowells son Alex (usually in clio's) is also running in an R class Leon.

No alan blencowe from the looks of it, not running today and no sign of his car in the garage.

He's had to quit after the accident at Snetterton took all his remaining budget away.

Those racing stripes really detract and cheapen the car in my books.

In what way do racing stripes cheapen cars?

Colour scheme is the nicest of all the Integras though. Reminds me a bit of Williams in about 1992 with the gold, blue and white. Except in this case the navy blue is relaced by purple.

I think that's a really nice colour scheme. I also see the roll cage is painted too, I always thought Blanckley's car looked a little strange with it's Halfords-orange one.

I don't think the stripes cheapen it at all, there's always been cars with them in BTCC, the MG teams have been using them forever!

Just hope Cadbury's doesn't get in a strop over the choice of colour scheme!

I like the stripes on Taylor's car. I think he and the team equipped themselves well today. Shame they retired in the third race but they scored a point on their debut.

I always thought that about the roll cage, but it is still orange if you look at some of the other pics
