I thought this was interesting. It makes you wonder if by the middle of next year we will see massive 100 point/$100k penalties or will Nascar go back to the "missed it a little, go bent it a bit and bring it back though" style of tech?

I was all set to hear another vintage wHINe from Roush, but instead, what he is saying makes a lot of sense. The tolerances required on the bodies makes repairs a lot more dicey than before. Having a car not make the templates is just not a penalty you want in a tight points battle. I think NASCAR will have to sit down with the teams and try to figure out a way of tracking battle damage and how to allow some tolerances during the race weekend for battle damage.

tstran, he is a genius...but sometimes he talks to much. On this one, I think he may have an excellent point.

Jack PRAISED the car of tomorrow on NASCAR Victory Lane. Funny how a victory changes opinion. How can anyone respect this man?

Blake, that is because unlike Kyle Busch, he knows bad mouthing the product in Victory lane means endless trips to the woodshed for more Kool Aid....
