Speaking about Don Johnson, I listened his album the other day. While i moved to this paradise, I found a copy of C-casette with Don Johnson and his hit parade.

I'm still looking for a heartbeat after that :dozey:

Loeb always takes a good escape =) do you remember the Turkey huge risk in 2005, or the cow in Argentina, or the superrally on Monte 2006 at the last day stage and no damage to the car, etc. he's the superlucky man of WRC :)
But good luck goes to people who 'earn' it.

Wilks looses a lot even to Mikkelsen and Wilson on SS1. OK, it's his first rally in Focus, but if you compare to drivers like Hänninen in second WC-start, it is not hot at all.

Also what is wrong with Carlsson?

Pons is totally off his abilities on snow ... look at difference with Garde ... did you see the Sweden review ? After the off in the snowbank (stopping Galli and Carlsson behind) in one of the next stage he couldn't understand a note, it was an hairpin and simply went straight with no braking at all !
"Hijo de puta" and many others insults between him and the codriver lol ! (strangely not even 'beeped' by the TV)

Wrong. They went off because the trotle broken and stayed blocked. The TV masn forget the Beep :D or they didn't undrestood english. But in fact Pons is out of the pace on snow... and also on gravel... and also on tarmac. The surprise was his return at the end of 2006, a really good perfomance. But was only that.

A shame he wasn't a second faster, but another great stage from Gigi. The question is of course: is this his normal speed on these roads, or is he pushing too much to keep up with the leaders and is he going to get stuck in a snow wall on the next stage?

So far Gigi's having an excellent start to the rally, almost caught up with Henning Solberg again, matching the times of Loeb in the C4 on some stages and being faster than the other Xsaras.

And Mikko is showing what he can do when he's pushing - but also in his case we'll have to see if he's going to be able to keep this pace throughout the event.
