Anyone else read "The 'Real' Kyle Busch" article on NASCAR.COM. Its fecking funny. Busch basically says im such an arse ive heard loads of PR people to try and make people think im a nice guy.

... if you gonna have PR advisers and stuff you should try to keep it hidden and not tell the world you gonna try and brainwash us with a PR blitz.

What a dick really if you gonna have PR advisers and stuff you should try and keep the hidden not tell the world you gonna try and brainwash us with a PR blitz.

Most drivers are bi-polar. You name the driver -- each has their jerky mode -- and each can be downright nice people. On one hand, you get a nice, charming person who can really be a nice person, hug kids, sign autographs, etc. The other person is a complete jerk. They are the driven, competitive jerk, focused only on driving. Try to talk w/ them in their jerk mode, and you're gonna get your head taken off (been there done that).

I've met Kyle. When I talked with him, he was having a good day at Michigan, and was quite talkative and friendly. I've also seen and heard the same "bad Kyle" stuff that you've seen and heard. So, is he a jerk? Well, it depends when you talk to him!

I hear tell that Barry Bonds also has some good moments, but I don't believe it. :D

I must've seen him on a bad day. He looked like he just ate something rotten and was a jerk.

Who does he drive for again?

OK, I know, I know. Basketball, right. Scored lots of home hoops in baseball, or something, to do with getting an icing in hockey. I never did understand lacrosse.
:D

Kyle is a jerk? oh wait a minute...hold the presses. No, not all drivers are jerks just sometimes, and not all jerks are jerks all the time, but I think Kyle is more likely in his true nature to be a jerk. As opposed to Mark Martin, who may have been a jerk once, but people cant remember it. Ditto for Jeff Burton....some people just have a tremendous amount of poise and class, no matter what, and while most people slip, good ones admit they were dorks. At least Kyle admits he is a jerk at times, so there is hope for the guy I suppose.

He's also smart enough to know he has a 'bad role model' to NOT follow, his older brother and has mentioned it.

I think that Kyle's quickly moving into the "used to be a jerk" category. The press certainly has noticed a difference. Any Penske employee is gonna be "assertive" but most know how to play the game, and it looks like a couple of years of Penske-ites around Kyle have educated him.

Michael Waltrip used to be seen as a jerk, and now people think that he's a great guy. Kyle Petty is seen as a great guy too. Well, I can assure you that both can and will get pretty excited when things go wrong -- witness Petty's broken hand -- but both have learned how to chew a&& away from the cameras.

Kurt in many ways is just a more polished version of his little brother, the shrub, until he snaps, and tries to run someone over in pit lane.....

They have anger issues, which happens in young drivers, but I do think the Busch's have a sense of entitlement that has really warped their view of life.....maybe Kyle being around the Gibb's will help, but then again, with T-Stew snapping once or twice a year, he might be worse

I thought Kyle handled himself exceptionally well after fridays busch race when that bad call by nascar cost him the race win. However i do hope that Kyle will still speak his mind,he makes so many great comments.
