I've got ALL the BRC DVDs & most all of the WRC DVDs... it was to find a multi-region player over here that'd work w/all formats, but I did it!! Nearly had to remortgage my house to pay for em' all, but it was well worth it!!

The reason why they were never available on vhs pal was due to a certain gentleman more closely associated with F1 playing silly buggers over the rights as was his want at the time. These were proper season reviews with Mark James commentary!

I obtained my 97 and 98 season review tapes at a very reasonable rate via Ebay. I would imagine that now the WRC is being milked as a cash cow by ISC that the 97 and 98 years will be finding their way onto dvd pretty soon! If their buying of the rights included the two years that were in limbo due the issue with BE then I would assume so anyway. Ironically the 97 footage at least was shown by the BBC as 1/2 hour programmes under the Top Gear Motorsport banner I have all those programmes aswell on vhs but always bought the year reviews aswell. There is a guy selling dvds of the BBC footage on Ebay at the mo but not sure where he will stand regards copyright etc...

Another point pertaining to the original direction of this threas is that it is interesting that some of the years that Duke are re-releasing are 120 minutes long like 1985 and 1986 etc but then some are only 60 minutes as per the original releases...
