before citreon trimmed back the customer xsara so as not to take points of sordo on gravel. now kronos/citroen have duval back in the seat, to take points from ford, so they have given duval a very quick car. but if stohl got the same 'quick' car as duval, he would be very annoyed that he didnt get the same car all year....

No more Tomi's illogical ramblings, I can edit him out! And leave his guest in, though answer without the question may get confusing when watching it years from now. :eek:

been to the rally yesterday, and I've seen 4 (!!) stages and a servicepark..
It looked to me that Marcus is losing time in the hairpins, maybe it's stupid to say this about a championship leader, but it looks to me that he's not as agressive as Duval, Loeb and Sordo.. But today there aren't such hairpins as there were yesterday, so maybe he'll have a chance..
It was a very good day, and we've been to the interviews after the last service, quit good to stand between Loeb, Grönholm and Duval, rallying is still very open for spectators!

if you take that away from his time, and say he was 5 secs off the leaders for ss2, he would be mixing it with the fords.. and certainly making marcus sweat for his points

He's definitely generated news but is that a good PR is entirely another question. Thumbing your nose isn't exactly the best way to sell cars and manus are in to do that. So, as a team manager I wouldn't look at Duval twice. Which explains why he was booted from Citroen and hasn't gotten a works drive since despite his skills.

He hasn't got good experiences with the press: he didn't get the Kronos seat earlier because of an article in the Belgian newspaper La Dernière Heure if I remember correctly. I guess he just wants to focus on the driving, he gave an answer to all the criticists yesterday by setting mindblowing times all day.

And I think he's also aware of the fact he sounds very funny in English. :)

Edit: And I know I'm walking on a thin line here, but I prefer a driver that doesn't talk that much and brings some excitement to the sport now and then, than a driver that talks too much and is now 8th in the overall standing with a manufacturer car.
