Whether they are or not, at least it will be nice to see someone on the 3rd place podium in GT1.

The car has done well n FIA GT, but I'm not sure how well the team will do.

I thought the Maserati was no qualified to race in the IMSA/ALMS

It is a tragedy that no one has challenged the Vette's all year, so this is great news....

I wonder if it will be restricted in the air intake or with added weight, etc. to make things more "even?"

ACO doesn't let MC12 race at LMS and LM24. Two years ago, a Maserati raced in ALMS too, I think they just didn't score any points and had some weight added.

I think ALMS needs to break away from the ACO rules to some extent and invent their own series. It would be more interesting!

Well, the get Audi and Corvette and other marques to put in factory money BECAUSE of the LeMans rules. You mess with that forumla, and you are asking for trouble.
