I thought it might be fun to hold a webbie awards for various 'best of' categories for the 2007 season. Seeing as the season is half over I thought I would poll everyone here for nominations under the below list of categories.

I'll keep track of the nominations and after the season wraps up we can open several polls and let people cast votes for a winner in each category.

So without further delay, the categories.

* If anyone wants to suggest more 'best of' categories just post them.
* No discussion in this thread please. Just post your nomination for a category and an explanation if you think its necessary
* Nominations will stay open until all world series are completed. This will be followed by a poll for each category where we can vote for winners

categories with nominees from all series will be difficult to vote for since most people here follow MotoGP but only a few follow WSBK and WSS

anyway, for "Made of Steel" I think the award should go to Bayliss
