From the doldrums of June to a hot streak in late July, Alonso has stepped it up and now is only 2 points behind Hamilton.

As I said before, the next 7 races (yes seven, as the 8th race is usually a non-decider more times than most) would decide who takes home the big trophy (WDC).

no room for error for the top 4 if they want the crown.

It's great to get this far into the season and find that the championship is still genuinely unpredictable! Even better when it's more than just a two-horse race.

For manufacturer championship, only the SAGA will stop Mclaren to win this title.
