Aaaargh - missed the pick 'em deadline

Sat down to do my pick 'ems at the usual time and found the thread closed. I hadn't noticed the early deadline. The time differences can be awkward sometimes when you are this far from the action.

I was lucky and got mine in on time only because I read the fine print. I didn't think there would ever be fine print on the Forum . LOL

Anyways, why was this pickems deadline so early ???? Usually saturday night races have until at least thursday . What gives ????

I bet a lot of regular pickems folks missed this one !

It surprised me too because it is only a two day event - all the practice sessions and qualifying on one day and the racing the next. The weekend's events didn't actually start any sooner.

It wasn't helped by the fact I had been out of town and was a day later than I usually am doing my pick'ems. Should've read the fine print ...

Frustrating though because I had just worked my way up to 7th or 8th.
