I don't know about everything made by Daihatsu, Carl. I liked the little Charade 1.0 GTti back in the late 80s, early 90s. :D

For my ugly cars I'd say all the Ssangyongs, the Vauxhall Signum, Fiat Multipla, Nissan Micra and SEAT Toledo.

It's a Ford. It's built down to a spec and price. Then the ST just had a big engine and some work done on the suspension. The Grande Punto was built to be a nice looking car. Whether or not it's succeeded is up to you.

Italian cars are sometimes a triumph of form over function. Not something you can't say about Fords now can you?

My reasoning stands ;)

I remember years ago somebody in the village had a Mahindra Indian Chief jeep. It was the loudest car I'd ever heard. You could hear it's 10bhp diesel droning from half a mile away as it approached. :s
