Possible BTCC/WTCC/Speed World Challenge-TC/STCC/JTCC entry?

Discuss. :)

It can't compete in any Super2000 championships as it hasn't got 4 doors, unless they give it an exemption or something. :\

I guess it could be in the Speed World Challenge, if it conforms to the series regulations.

And I don't suppose it would be worth running if Alan Gow has decided to allow the BTC spec upon the start of the 2008 campaign?

My instincts regarding what most of you are thinking is no. My instinct is telling me your perhaps either thinking a)if the BTC spec is still run it may not last for much longer and it may be the last season for the BTC-spec, b)the car could be to expensive or b)ultimately it would all depend on Nissan allowing an Independent outfit to run it as I am thinking Nissan would not run an operation for various reasons.

Atleast give me credit for thinking hard about something please. :)

Isn't available in the UK, so that rules it out also.

Well, I live not that far away from Washington where the Nissan plant is so any news about new models always gets mentioned on the Tyne Tees news and I have not heard anything about the car being planned. I think it was about a year before the Note and Qasqui was built that it was announced on the news.

As it is a US car it will not be coming anywhere near the uk as it is basically the primera rebadged and I remember reading that nissan will not be making a family sized car for the uk market as it did not sell well.

Here is the link for the 4 door version as the car has been around for a while in the US

The car I would like to see as a touring car is the new toldeo replacement that seat are planning called the bolero at the moment http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/208763/seat_toledo.html
