BTCC is back on ITV1 for Donnington and, as BTCC. Net says, "Each ITV1 broadcast will be a minimum of 90 minutes and feature live coverage of race three, plus highlights of the earlier races one and two."

But .. I'm a little confused. The Donny timetable is:

11:20 - 16 laps Dunlop MSA British Touring Car C'ship

13:40 - 16 laps Dunlop MSA British Touring Car C'ship

15:50 - 16 laps Dunlop MSA British Touring Car C'ship

But the published time for the prog on ITV1 is:

MOTORING: British Touring Cars Championship
On: ITV1 Meridian (103)
Date: Sunday 15th July 2007 (starting in 15 days)
Time: 14:00 to 15:30 (1 hour and 30 minutes long)

Am I missing something?

I always use the timetables on btcc.net which agree with the BARC site. Link for Donington Park;

I reckon ITV will put on a better show with it being on 1 rather than 3.

I would imagine it will be exactly the same, which is perfectly competent.

Quite, In fact I've noted an improvement in the coverage this year even though it moved to ITV3, so I don't expect it to be any different on ITV1.

I think the improvement is with the presenters. Ted Kravitz and Louise Goodman aren't the best sports presenters in the world, but they are better than VB-H could ever hope to be.
