Just announced today by the FIA.. At the bottom of this press release!
To be held at Adria in Italy on 28 October.

Well, we know what CARS will not be there. Non FiA homolgated cars.

Honda Civic, BMW 1 Series, Vauxhall Vectra, Audi A4, Volvo S60, Peugeot 407 and Mercedes S200.

honda accord can and a few others but only one we could see would be engstrom from the stcc

yeah it was raced in 2006 done first few rounds and a few in 2005 and raced in etc cup 2005 i think if im correct

The 407 is officially FIA homologated for WTCC & other S2000 formulae

I have a question. Not that it is the first time :uhoh: .

Forgive me for sounding dumb (Then again what else do you expect from someone that is dumb!) but is their some kind entry into this that is open to most drivers or is it a series with a set roster of drivers like their is in the BTCC, WTCC or DTM? Only I read about it in news articles indirectly but not as coverage.

From memory it's drivers who have done about 75% of a national S2000 championship that year. Jason Plato did it in 2005 in a Toledo and Rob Collard in a GR Asia Toledo (despite actually racing a BTC-T car, he was allowed to because his series permitted S2000 cars). There were restrictions on drivers who had done some WTCC events I think, but there may have been a percentage involved in there somewhere. Can't be bothered finding it at this precise moment.
