I'd say the loss of points is going to hurt them more than the money.

Say, I wonder... when a crew chief gets hit with a fine like this ($100K), do the teams always come through and pay it for them? And roughly how much do A-list crew chiefs make these days - anybody have a rough idea?

I would bet that the team pays the fine, but similarly, if chad knaus had to pay, i don't think it'd hit him that hard

Yeah, i really didn't see this as a big deal, accidents happen, but it again begs the issue of needing Stan as a Moderator
