At the first race of the Turkish Track Championship done in Izmir Opel driver Özen had a terrific start to the season by winning the two races in Group 1600. Berke, the Group 2000 driver was admired and appreciated by spectators because of his excellent driving skills and became the second in two races right after Erkut Kızılırmak racing with BTCC Astra. The third Opel Performance driver Alptekin racing at the Maxi Group ranked the third at the second race right after the two Porsche drivers with his Opel Vectra.

I wonder if he has 2 Sport hatches or transports the one between here and Turkey

He has 3 racing Astra Sport Hatches. 1 he is using in Turkey, another he is racing in the UK atm, and the 3rd remains available to a suitably funded driver to join him in the Arkas Racing BTCC team. I'm not sure, but I believe he may also own the car he raced last year, the converted passenger car.

888 still own the 2 seater that he raced last year. It was being used by them at Media Day. Erkut bought the three racecars used by Giovanardi Chilton and Smith.

As stated, Erkut owns the 3 astra sport hatches from last season.
2 for the btcc and 1 for racing in Turkey.
He also owns/owned the ex muller coupe from 04.
I know Erkut reads this forum, and i'm sure if i am wrong he will correct me.

i don't expect to be corrected.
