Silverstone is opening up the spectator terraces from Luffield all the way up the Pit Straight.

It doesnt, but the fact that Ralf is testing must mean there is more venom to come from the plethora of his haters because he is for sure racing at France :D :D :D

If that Toyota's fastest time only meant something...

It may perhaps have meant that there is a glitch in the telemetry systems of the FIA

Oh, and thanks to the inconsiderate f**k in a red Rover hatchback who opened his car door and let it swing straight into mine, and left a bloody great mark.

Just got back.

Cracking day. Got to say having previously paid £99, £149, £159 I was happy to part with a tenner today. Rained about twice, bunch of ****** wouldnt come back out until track dried up, having said that I think Heikki came out on wets for a couple of laps but that was it. Thought Kimi had dissapeared off to the beer tent near the end, but he popped in a few laps (after the checquerd flag had been shown) Hopefully got a few good snaps and a few mins of Video. Need a drink now to wind down.

All who have been or are going tomorrow, we recon the BMW is the loudest, agree/disagree

Went to the test today - here's a few pics. Had some big time camera issues today and I am NOT happy with any of my results from the EOS 30D (ie. most of these!), but that's another matter altogether.

Whats wrong with the pics Daniel?

My other half has a 30D, the spoon just spent £1200 on a new lens for it last week and we're getting cracking pictures. Just interested to know as we'll be using it for the first time to take pics of F1 cars at the GP in a couple of weeks. We had a 300D at last years GP and got good pictures, and we've always got good rally photos from the 30D.

I got a Sony Erricsson camera phone, does that count?

I have to say that I recon there was more money's worth of camera gear at Silverstone yerterday than F! cars.
Every other person had a huge lens in one hand, and a tripod in the other. The rest of us had £99 digital cameras and phones, bet our pictures are better, well maybe.

The full size shots are all ever so slightly out of focus - I'm not impressed. I do many, many airshows every year and I'm well accustomed to panning at slow speeds with fast moving objects, but I've never had such a bad day of shooting in all my life. I'm in the market for an EOS 10D at the moment - I was hoping to have one before the test but alas it wasn't to be, so I had to borrow a 30D and it was terrible. Worst digital body I've ever used. I'm not prepared to believe it was my fault - I do alot of photography and I know how to use a camera. I must have just had a terrible example - even shots of things that were standing still (my family) are out of focus with it.

The shots I posted here were the best of an (extremely) bad bunch.

damn Ferrari and their deep pockets, otherwise he would be leading this season without any competition

You Ferrari fans may like to know that, the Mclaren had to have an engine change yesterday while we were there and, twice in the afternoon crawled past us sounding V sick on his way to the pits, reliabillity issues ????

As much as I love McLaren, I hate them more for not giving Kimi the right car for him to win in the past years. and having 100% reliability that hasn't happened since what? 1999? just right after he left is pissing me off

His comments.

Why didn't he stay? Nobody forced him to leave

He had had enough of Ron and the constant failures he had to put up with at McLaren. From wings flying off to the throttle pedal getting stuck.

Just got back from watching this mornings action and it was well worth the 3 hour drive :D Alonso caused 1 red flag with a tech problem at Stowe, while Massa caused two spinning off at Abbey and Priory. You could see Massa was totally on it all the time, especially through Copse!

Anywho il start to upload my photos n get some up on here.

Maybe you just didnt get the setting on it right or it was just a faulty camera. Does sound like the camera was broken if even family shots turned out wrong. My other half is a complete photo freak and his pictures have never been out of focus, unless hes deliberately trying to get them out of focus.

As I said in my last message - I do alot of photography outdoors on fast moving subjects and I know how to set a camera up to do what I want. Look at my website.... http://www.aotv45.dsl.pipex.com

I'm convinced it was faulty.
