I can't come out to play next weekend. It's my wife's 40th birthday & she's decided at the last minute she wants to go away for the weekend. The sacrifices we make for our nearest & dearest.

No aircon = very hot rooms in the summer, I've found. Unless they've installed some this year, I've not been for a while.

Nice to see that we have some sponsors for the Pick Up racing from Selex and RSCapp. Well done to whoever organised this. Are the V8's going to get Cadbury/Schweppes/Bassett and Ribena sponsorship? ;)

Don't like the look of Sundays timetable. Four infield sessions, lunch , another infield session then out ot the oval. Legends multi race the problem I suppose.

Will have to be pedal to the metal in the minibus Dave! We've got 1 minute according to the timetable for the last 2 races, to get from the infield onto the Oval & plug in (hoping the land line works) hey ho the joys of Rockingham ;)

No joy there Linda, I've had me wings clipped! 5mph in public areas and 15mph on perimiter roads. Since they stopped my route by the fence it makes sense.

The Pickup Truck (races) sponsorship was put together by Torquespeed, in conjunction with Sonny Howard. RSCapp have been a long term personal sponsor of John Mickel and he was able to bring them to the table along with SELEX.
A lot of hard work was required to get the deal done and a big thank you must go out to Sonny for all his help.

Dave,

That will be a £10 contribution from you to a V8 trophy charity for swearing in public. Shame on you :( , using the dreaded "R" word. ;)
