O/T how annoying is the tvu player!!

That tvu player has done my head in again!! Turned it on tonight to watch nextel cup qualifying,was amazed to see wheels/speed channel available.When i started it i had a totally wonderfull picture and sound except instead of qualifying speed were showing f1 practice (can you i agine anything more boring,it was dreadfull).As soon as this finished speed went to michigan for cup qualifying and no sooner did that happen and my player started doing the usual freezing nonsense so you could see maybe two picture frames a minute and incomprehensible commentary.Why does it never work for nascar coverage?Sorry bout this rant but i'm well peed off.

Ours is really temperamental too, Barry was none too pleased when it went off 5 mins into Juniors press conference on Wednesday!!

if you use the new Beta version is seems more reliable - i get around 600kps (up to 900 if i'm lucky!)

Just remember that the more people watching the slower and blockier the service will be.

I watched the CTS race on that Sopcast thing last night - quite reasonable. video quality isn't bril, but it'll do.
