Another two Dutchman drives Ford Focus WRC 06. One for Wevers, the other for Kuipers. They do the Dutch rallies and the Euro Rally Challenge (6 rallies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany -2 in each country- only for WRCars)

Maybe they do some WRC rounds, I don't know the reg. plates of the car.

If so, EJ56 FZV is not the 1ES in Wales, but a promotion car. Look at the reg. plate.

I´m reading here an article form the spanish magazine "Crono Motor" about V474 ONO and X5 FMC. Apparentely they were the same car. The car was used by MSport in Argentina and Safari´01.

Then, they sold the car to JM Engeneering and changed the plate to V474 ONO. In 2003 they changed again the reg. plate to 1Z3 9500 and in 2004 the car returned to X5 FMC and was used mainly in Italy by Errepi Racing and Felice Re. In 2005 and 2006 the car was owned by Max Beltrami from Switzerland and is now in Galicia, Spain.

I have never heard anything about X9 FMC, I know there were X8 and X10 FMC, but never seen X9 FMC. If anyone can tell me more about that car I would be very interested.

Is it not still being rented out by Ramsport for the time being. I think it was that car or maybe another Ramsport one that was in the For Sale section of Autosport last week. They were also offering rental deals for the car.

The fact Mikkelsen was on 0 car duty at the cars last rally on the Granite would make me think Ramsport still own and run the car.

I'm pretty sure Weston has had his cars run by Ramsport for a few years now. Dating back to pre-Mikkelsen days when he was running the Escort WRC.

I suppose its just a matter of waiting to see if he keeps using it. But he has probably bought it and Ramsport are running it for him like they always have done.

Van Merksteijn sold the former car of Munchi's/Stobart (reg. number not yet known).

Merksteijn sr. drives this half year the new car in Eifel Rallye, WRC Deutschland Rallye, WRC rally Catalunya en WRC Rally GB.
His son (jr.) drive these rallies in the Focus WRC 06.

Remember Gareth still has his own 05 spec Focus EG53 AVD so he could use that one or rent one of Ramsport cars. I think the norwegians still have atleast one 05 spec Focus.
I guess we have to wait for first photos of the machine before we can be sure.

Yes I just noticed it right now. Even I was fooled in thinking that Ford had brought a new car here for Mikko EU08 AXC. I have a large photo taken in shakedown and it clearly shows this reg-plate. Now when I have taken a look at some other photos they show the old reg-plate PX08 AXC that Mikko used in Germany.
I think they just put the wrong sticker on the car for shakedown and that's it.

WRC rules do not allow stobart to run 09 spec cars. They are required to run the previous years spec. Which as development is banned means they will be using 08 spec cars AFAIK.

I believe it is an insurance issue. But it is very VERY annoying for people who try to keep track. I'm not sure they have to do it for non-Finnish drivers (they didn't used to) but now it's every car.

Yeah it seems unnecessary to me to do it but there must be some logic. It used to be that you had the Peugeot team where Marcus and Rovanpera would have these temporary plates but Burns would not.

Wevers' Focus are the cars of Kuipers family. You can see them in Sweden.
There is one other 'lost'. I think it was the car who Dutch Champion Ten Brinke drove in 2009 and is run by VM Motorsport (Merksteijn)Not sure yet.

Wevers himself didn't drive anymore. Some other Dutch member can help more maybe.

Sweden is still unknown. I think it is EU07 SUO.
