Oh, I'm sure it is :D

Donney
15th January 2007, 18:53
By the way my last post was the 1000th in this new LW thread.

DonnieDarco
15th January 2007, 18:55
Bum! So it was :D

Donney
15th January 2007, 19:02
That's because I'm the LW master. :p :

djarumdudley
15th January 2007, 19:54
for a master, you're pretty lousy!

Donney
15th January 2007, 20:01
So you think?

DonnieDarco
15th January 2007, 21:24
He got the 1K post though, and the rest of us didn't even notice! We must work harder :D

Rollo
15th January 2007, 22:01
The Thousandth post matters nought in the grand scheme of things, for the only post that actually does matter is the last one. Ipso facto this post is ergo the only post that does QED.

Mp3 Astra
15th January 2007, 22:18
And a good evening to you!

schmenke
15th January 2007, 22:20
Hey Mp3! Good to see you around. How's your collection?

Mp3 Astra
15th January 2007, 22:25
Hey schmenkey!
The collection has grown recently due to a lapse in the behaviour of dogs in the area. Times have never been better! :D

djarumdudley
15th January 2007, 22:35
surely times were better when you had the last word.

Mp3 Astra
15th January 2007, 23:27
Ah but I always do...

DonnieDarco
15th January 2007, 23:45
Astra! Its about bleedin' time, you've been neglecting your LW duties :D

schmenke
16th January 2007, 00:03
No matter. I've been taking good care of it :D

Rollo
16th January 2007, 01:43
I've just had a strange thought. When they demolished the old forums and built us our new modern home, where'd they put the lockers? :o and more importantly... where's my direct route to Narnia?

DonnieDarco
16th January 2007, 01:58
Well, its not quite so direct these days :D There's a long and arduous tunnel route to the old forum, where your wardrobe still sits. You really need one of those helmets with the light on to get through it, and nobody's yet drawn up a map, so you'll find yourself taking all sorts of interesting though fraught, diversions.

Give my regards to the Beavers though :D

harvick#1
16th January 2007, 05:14
wha?

Donney
16th January 2007, 11:02

An LW a day keeps the doctor away.

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 14:05
Anais Anais...
what's that?

It's dutch for 'Wee Wee' :p :

DonnieDarco
16th January 2007, 14:56
It most certainly is not, you cad :D

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 14:58
Ooo! Get you :p :

DonnieDarco
16th January 2007, 15:07
I'm saving the big guns for another insult :D

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 15:08
Still aimed at me or do you have a new target? :p :

DonnieDarco
16th January 2007, 15:15
Well, ol' big ass Schmenke is another one ;) :D

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 15:36
Well at least you have options :D

harvick#1
16th January 2007, 15:37
don't give her options

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 15:41
Well I'm guessing that you've just been added to the list ;)

DonnieDarco
16th January 2007, 15:41
I deserve options! :D

harvick#1
16th January 2007, 16:08
and I deserve to keep the LW :p :

stevie_gerrard
16th January 2007, 16:28
not sure about that :p :

Donney
16th January 2007, 17:04
You might deserve it but I have it.

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 17:55
Time for my first yoink of the week :D

schmenke
16th January 2007, 18:02
What did I do to get on the sh!t-list? :angryfire :
Surely nothing too insulting.........lately :erm: :D

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 18:14
I think breathing qualifies most on here for the hit list ;)

If my theory about Anais Anais wasn't right, what does it mean then DD?

djarumdudley
16th January 2007, 18:15
time for a hopefully not too quick last word for me.

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 18:17
About as long as my last one :\

harvick#1
16th January 2007, 18:27
and this one

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 18:29
Nah, that one was way longer :p :

djarumdudley
16th January 2007, 18:53
yet again you've had enough.

CarlMetro
16th January 2007, 18:59
There is no such thing as enough, when it comes to the LW ;D

schmenke
16th January 2007, 19:07
You all must be getting tired. I'll take over from now on...

DonnieDarco
16th January 2007, 19:13
We'll just see about that :D

schmenke
16th January 2007, 19:36
Hit the sack already woman! :p :

MrJan
16th January 2007, 21:13
I am not a woman and don't have a sack so the above comment can't be about me. I do have the LW though.

harvick#1
16th January 2007, 22:06
are you sure

MrJan
16th January 2007, 22:22
I was

DonnieDarco

Rollo
17th January 2007, 03:29
Well, its not quite so direct these days :D There's a long and arduous tunnel route to the old forum, where your wardrobe still sits. You really need one of those helmets with the light on to get through it, and nobody's yet drawn up a map, so you'll find yourself taking all sorts of interesting though fraught, diversions.

Give my regards to the Beavers though :D

I donned my Sherlock Holmes Deerstalker Hat, riding goggles and bomber jacket and then rode to the gates of the old forum whereupon I found the following sign.

http://www.reklamewelt.de/2868.jpg

But it wasn't guarded or anything and I found out why fairly quickly. The old forums must have suffered a radiation leak, because my geiger counter started blipping off of the scale.

So I daren't go back at all

DonnieDarco
17th January 2007, 03:49
I think you took one of the many diversions, and in fact ended up at Chernobyl. Try again, but don't go that way :D

harvick#1
17th January 2007, 03:50
what are you still doing up it's got to be 4 AM there

DonnieDarco
17th January 2007, 05:47
5.40am actually! Can't sleep, worried about my puddy tat. Ive been out n the driving wind and rain calling him, but no luck so far.

djarumdudley
17th January 2007, 05:50
amazing your post says it was at 12:47, yet my compy says 12:45am.

harvick#1
17th January 2007, 06:22
the forum clock is fast

djarumdudley
17th January 2007, 06:29
apparently not fast enough for you to maintain the last word.

Rollo
17th January 2007, 09:50
I just have to apologise for this post.

I should draw across one of those kiddie fences so that the infection of 3 year olds currently in my house doesn't leak onto 'tinternet.

Donney
17th January 2007, 10:37
Don't worry the LW will be fine by my side.

CarlMetro
17th January 2007, 11:35
That might be true.

Naaah Don't think so.

CarlMetro
17th January 2007, 13:10
Me neither

Donney
17th January 2007, 15:57
Exactly

CarlMetro
17th January 2007, 16:02
Really

schmenke
17th January 2007, 16:09
No, not really :p :

CarlMetro
17th January 2007, 16:44
That's what I thought ;)

Donney
17th January 2007, 17:22
So you thought the LW was mine?

CarlMetro
17th January 2007, 17:24
Of course not, that would be silly

Donney
17th January 2007, 17:38
I thought so.

djarumdudley
17th January 2007, 18:02
it's comforting to know your okay with your incorrectness.

Donney
17th January 2007, 18:41
I thought he would have thought so, which does not mean that I thought I wasn't right, because I know now and then that no matter what any of you thought, the LW is mine.

 .... I think

schmenke
17th January 2007, 19:28
You thunk incorrectly :p :

Donney
17th January 2007, 19:37
I don't thunk so :p :

BTW we should ask DD if "to thunk" is a regular or irregular verb, just in case we use it more frequently.

DonnieDarco
17th January 2007, 20:22
Its not to thunk :D If you've been thinking, you could say I've thunk, or I thunk :D

schmenke
17th January 2007, 21:18
I don't thunk so :p :

BTW we should ask DD if "to thunk" is a regular or irregular verb, just in case we use it more frequently.

Knowing DD it's very irregular

Rollo
17th January 2007, 21:56
Owing to the time I spent working behind the counter at John Lewis every time I see the initials DD, I'm either inclined to think of something you'd put into a clock radio or overpriced scanties.

Should I really be giving out this sort of information? People might get the wrong impression. Aw well...

Pee Po Belly Bum Drawers :D

CarlMetro
17th January 2007, 23:21
DD reminds me of an ex-girlfriend :cheese:

Rollo
17th January 2007, 23:31
I knew it, I knew it! CarlMetro is an android - he once dated a clock radio!
I'm guessing that the reason they broke up was that he simply didn't have the time.

CarlMetro
18th January 2007, 00:03

I was talking about her bra size ;)

DonnieDarco
18th January 2007, 00:35
LOL!! Stoppit you lot, its just an unfortunate and unforseen side effect of the name I chose for this forum :D

CarlMetro
18th January 2007, 00:39
There was nothing unfortunate about her DD's :D

Just a shame she liked one of my mates more than me :\

DonnieDarco
18th January 2007, 01:10
Well, when you go out with a lady, trying looking her in the face when you're talking to her :) :D

CarlMetro
18th January 2007, 01:14
I'm a bloke and, when a bloke is faced with such enormous distractions, it's almost impossible to stop looking at them :D

DonnieDarco
18th January 2007, 01:17
Try :D

CarlMetro
18th January 2007, 01:19
I did :lips:

Ms Darco speaks words of truth:

Well, when you go out with a lady, trying looking her in the face when you're talking to her :) :D

You should also keep you're mouth open when talking to a lady...

..it's best that if she decides to throw a Gin & Tonic or a Bacardi Breezer in your face, that you should try and save as much as possible :D
Jack D. Ripper in Dr. Strangelove kept on talking about precious bodily fluids, what's more precious than alcomahol?

CarlMetro
18th January 2007, 09:47
I'm quite fond of crushing up Weetabix for mixing with blood

I prefer a bit of cold milk and a sprinkle of suger over the top, but whatever floats your boat.

Must be an Aussie thing :\ You've been down there too long Rollo ;)

Donney
18th January 2007, 10:39
I don't usually agree with Carl in this thread but now he's right I'd rather mix it with milk and sugar too.

And the LW agrees too.

That would be a unique collectors unit.

DonnieDarco

Rollo
19th January 2007, 03:08
Hello everybody!

This post comes to you live from Wynyard Railway Station in Sydney where the good people at the railway company have just informed me that the 1:31 train which was due nearly half and hour ago has been cancelled and that the 2:01 train is running 22 minutes late.

Yay, I don't have to go back to work on time and I can blame it all on the trains because, I've made a recording of the announcements and all! :D

As you were.

djarumdudley
19th January 2007, 07:43
good show for putting one over on the employers. since i'm still stuck here at my job i'll take the last word as consolation.

CarlMetro
19th January 2007, 08:32
Well I have an important meeting at midday, so I need the LW with me :)

DonnieDarco
19th January 2007, 09:23
Thats a shame Carl :D

CarlMetro
19th January 2007, 09:25
Why is it?

DonnieDarco
19th January 2007, 11:29
Its a sha-aaa-me, the way you mess around with my heart :D Ok, not really, but now I have the line in my head, and will be singing it all day :D

Donney

CarlMetro
22nd January 2007, 00:54
Or perhaps that they're not as wise as we think they are ;)

Rollo
22nd January 2007, 01:28
Wise? They don't look very wise to me! Stumbling 'round a cowshed at 3am in the morning :D

CarlMetro
22nd January 2007, 01:31
What is Mer anyway?

Rollo
22nd January 2007, 02:48
You mean myrrh?

Myrrh like frankincense are both resins; whose prime use happens to be in the embalming process. Then as now they're rather costly.

LeonBrooke
22nd January 2007, 03:01
"3am in the morning"? That's redundant. Why not just "3am"? Or "3 in the morning"? :p :

DonnieDarco
22nd January 2007, 03:34
You mean myrrh?

Myrrh like frankincense are both resins; whose prime use happens to be in the embalming process. Then as now they're rather costly.

Well then, was it really a nice gesture from the three wise men, or were they just wanting baby Jesus dead? :D

22nd January 2007, 09:43
Somewhat ironic doncha think?

Babies are better with Barbeque Sauce :D

harvick#1
22nd January 2007, 16:43
you can have the cake, but the LW is mine back again in it rightful spot

Donney

I'll go even further and I'll have the chocolate cake and the LW.

schmenke
22nd January 2007, 18:05
You can't have your cake and the LW too... :D

Soo... I'll take the LW :D

Donney
22nd January 2007, 18:36
Not that it is very important but the LW will be with me from now on.

Rollo
22nd January 2007, 19:36
Not only is it not important but also not strictly true either ;)

CarlMetro
22nd January 2007, 19:46

stevie_gerrard
22nd January 2007, 20:10

Well if someone was able to answer that questions then they would have had to have heard of whatever it was they hadn't heard of, therefore they would have heard of it, and wouldn't never have heard of it.

CarlMetro
22nd January 2007, 21:07
Erm................yes..................or no perhaps?

djarumdudley
22nd January 2007, 21:18
well it's certainly possible.

CarlMetro
22nd January 2007, 21:22
But is it probable?

Mp3 Astra
22nd January 2007, 21:59
It's highly improbable and that's what makes it sooooo good!

LeonBrooke
22nd January 2007, 22:48
Oh yes, especially when you experience it... it's like nothing you've ever experienced before...

Rollo
22nd January 2007, 23:07
It's highly improbable and that's what makes it sooooo good!

Ah, an improbablity!

.........because it can't be in two places at once, and has decided it likes me the best :D

If it's infinitely improbable, then it's not impossible; therefore plausible. It therefore could pass through every conceivable and inconceivable point in the universe.

But at this exact moment in time, it's here until it isn't; and therefore won't be.

schmenke
22nd January 2007, 23:35
Um... don't know what you're all on about, but the LW is certainly here.

djarumdudley
23rd January 2007, 00:46
actually it's here.

DonnieDarco
23rd January 2007, 00:49
It is here................but not with you :D

harvick#1
23rd January 2007, 02:14
I'll take it one more time before I clock off for the night

djarumdudley
23rd January 2007, 02:50
and that was long enough.

Rollo
23rd January 2007, 02:54
Give a man a fire and he's warm for a night.
Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life :D

LeonBrooke

Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life :D

Ah... what a great quote...

Donney
23rd January 2007, 11:09

The LW also says hello.

DonnieDarco
23rd January 2007, 11:47
Hello :D

CarlMetro
23rd January 2007, 12:39
Ah, what a glorious day to quit your job :D

DonnieDarco
23rd January 2007, 12:44
You've quit? Again? :D

CarlMetro
23rd January 2007, 13:13
Yep, sick to death of sorting out problems which other people have caused and won't own up to. This wouldn't be so bad when the customer is in England and speaks English but I'm bouncing all over Europe for days at a time :s

Plus the new job will pay me even more money :D

DonnieDarco
23rd January 2007, 13:48
You have another job? Already? :D

schmenke
23rd January 2007, 15:59
Carl is quick, but not quick enough when it comes to the LW :D

LeonBrooke
23rd January 2007, 19:03
He must have had it lined up when he quit the previous one.

DonnieDarco
23rd January 2007, 19:14
He must be a smooth talker :D

LeonBrooke
23rd January 2007, 19:20
Yes, must be... well, congratulations to him.

djarumdudley
23rd January 2007, 19:26
last word before work.

Mp3 Astra
23rd January 2007, 19:35
I'm interested about this new job, Carl. More sitting about in the garden watching the cricket like last summer? :D

CarlMetro
23rd January 2007, 21:31
You have another job? Already? :D

Always make sure that you have another before quitting otherwise the savings can diminish very rapidly

Mp3, yeah plenty of sitting in the garden watching the cricket and making sure even if I'm out at work, that I'm home intime for Deal or No Deal ;)

LeonBrooke
23rd January 2007, 22:09

Why watch that show? Have you swallowed poison? There are easier ways to induce vomiting you know :p :

CarlMetro
23rd January 2007, 22:36
I like Deal or No Deal :p :

Rollo
23rd January 2007, 22:43
I think that the UK should stop producing idiotic game shows on the basis that it infects the rest of the world's television. Australian TV has Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and even more worrying Quizmania now!

I know that I live in a nation of ne'er do wells and convicts but surely this is cruel and unusual punishement and contravenes the Geneva Convention on Human Rights issues.

DonnieDarco
23rd January 2007, 23:26
Serves them right, I say :D

Rollo
24th January 2007, 00:17
Oh tish.

If there was a war going on, ITV would be before a judge in The Hauge.

DonnieDarco
24th January 2007, 01:11
What would be the charge?

CarlMetro
24th January 2007, 01:41
Nothing, it's on Channel 4 so it's free :p :

fly_ac
24th January 2007, 08:10
Yeh like the LW, it's free.

CarlMetro
24th January 2007, 09:04
........apart from when I capture it, like now :D

fly_ac
24th January 2007, 10:57
Nah I have. :arrows:

Donney
24th January 2007, 11:31
It doesn't cost me a penny to have the LW you know?

fly_ac
24th January 2007, 12:06
I knew it, the LW is FREEEEE. :)

stevie_gerrard
24th January 2007, 13:30
yeh, free to do what it wants thank you :p :

fly_ac
24th January 2007, 14:04
like you said. :cheese:

schmenke
24th January 2007, 15:31
Said what? ;)

Donney
24th January 2007, 15:42
He said the LW is mine.

fly_ac
24th January 2007, 15:56
No the LW is free. :cheese:

Donney
24th January 2007, 16:43
So it is mine without charge? Excellent.

NoahsGirl
24th January 2007, 19:10
My LW, for a long time - we have some catching up to do

djarumdudley
24th January 2007, 19:31
hope that amount of time was sufficient.

NoahsGirl
24th January 2007, 19:38
Not at all, we've only just started to catch up

Donney
24th January 2007, 19:59
Hello NG  it's been a while!

But the LW is mine now.

CarlMetro
24th January 2007, 22:07
Was yours, not now though :D

LeonBrooke
24th January 2007, 22:16
Not yours either :p :

CarlMetro
24th January 2007, 22:23
'tis :p :

DonnieDarco
24th January 2007, 22:23
Hey NG! I see five red crosses under your name!

LeonBrooke
24th January 2007, 22:33
???

DonnieDarco
24th January 2007, 23:05
Underneath her name I see BTCC Fantasy Champion, and then underneath that I can see 5 boxes, each one with a little red x in the middle.

LeonBrooke
24th January 2007, 23:10
I see her name, and BTCC Fantasy Champion, but no boxes or red crosses... which of us is going mad? ;)

DonnieDarco
24th January 2007, 23:23
Well, its not me! They are really there, honest!

LeonBrooke
24th January 2007, 23:35
Do the boxes and crosses tell you anything? ;)

DonnieDarco
24th January 2007, 23:43
Shut it you, I am not crazy :D

XSARA
25th January 2007, 00:38
Shut it you, I am not crazy :D

It's your browser's Java settings Donnie. If some settings are disabled, it wont show the stuff in the boxes properly.

Alright, just confirming you're not crazy...you can have your last word back now :)

CarlMetro
25th January 2007, 00:40
just confirming you're not crazy...

We need a bit more convincing than that :p :

Rollo
25th January 2007, 02:51
Ms Darco is definitely not crazy.

In her spare time she's a staple remover and she happens to think that cement is interesting, so this would in fact make her stark raving mad :D

djarumdudley
25th January 2007, 05:41
quite a reasonable deduction!

DonnieDarco
25th January 2007, 07:39
I like the way it sets so quickly!! Whats wrong with that :D

CarlMetro
25th January 2007, 08:41
'The prosecution rest M'lud, we think that the evidence speaks for itself' :p :

djarumdudley
25th January 2007, 08:54
you'll need to build a new case as exibit 'a', the last word, is no longer admissible for you.

CarlMetro
25th January 2007, 09:00
Have you been fiddling with my evidence? :s ailor:

DonnieDarco
25th January 2007, 09:09
No fiddling allowed!!!

Oh, and I must just say thanks to Xsara :D

CarlMetro
25th January 2007, 09:12
Why, did she just open your cell door? :p :

DonnieDarco
25th January 2007, 09:12
She believes in me!! :D

CarlMetro
25th January 2007, 09:30
Even loonies have followers :D

Donney
25th January 2007, 11:39
I have another problem I see nothing under NG's name....

I think the LW will help with that.

fly_ac
25th January 2007, 12:49
Yes, the LW can help, but it is busy at the moment. :D

CarlMetro
25th January 2007, 13:43
Yep, it sure is :D

fly_ac
25th January 2007, 14:13
No not really, I have it all tucked in for it's nap. :cheese:
