Donney
15th February 2010, 15:01
Austin Healies were nice cars...

schmenke
15th February 2010, 17:12
Indeed, as were Hillmans.

Donney
15th February 2010, 17:40
The LW agrees.

djarumdudley
15th February 2010, 22:20
yes, that it's with me.

CarlMetro
15th February 2010, 22:34
You should really check you grammar, past tense, which is what you should be using, is 'was' and not 'is'. As in the LW was with me.

Donney
16th February 2010, 08:27
Yep it was with you.

NoahsGirl
16th February 2010, 12:03
Like it was with you, and is now with me

djarumdudley
17th February 2010, 00:32
but has since returned to it's rightful place

Donney
17th February 2010, 08:20
Which is obviously here...

NoahsGirl
17th February 2010, 13:45
You are both wrong, it's here.

Donney
17th February 2010, 14:37
The LW and I are not wrong, we both know where we are...

djarumdudley
18th February 2010, 01:16
well i don't know where you are, but i do know where the last word is

Rollo
18th February 2010, 01:18
The answer to that is

ON THE INTERNET!!!

Donney
18th February 2010, 15:34
That solves the L in ASL.

schmenke
18th February 2010, 16:55
The LW is confused.

Donney
18th February 2010, 19:18
Nah, it isn't!

djarumdudley
19th February 2010, 01:50
you are correct

Donney
19th February 2010, 07:37
As usual...

schmenke
19th February 2010, 18:13
The LW and I are looking forward to the weekend.

Donney
22nd February 2010, 07:30
The weekend is over.

djarumdudley
22nd February 2010, 12:19
and the last word is mine

NoahsGirl
22nd February 2010, 13:00
I think you will find it is mine

Donney
22nd February 2010, 18:12
The LW is far from Scotland.

Rollo
23rd February 2010, 00:49
Well, the Scots are allowed to be transvestites aren't they? What with all that skirty wearing they seem to do.

Donney
23rd February 2010, 07:33
and what with deep-frying Mars bars?

schmenke
23rd February 2010, 15:29
Sounds like something only a Scot would want to attempt... :s

Donney
23rd February 2010, 18:06
Like stealing the LW?

Rollo
23rd February 2010, 23:11
I'm not a Scot and I'd attempt that.

djarumdudley
24th February 2010, 00:21
appears i've done better than attempt

Donney
24th February 2010, 07:43
Not that good...

NoahsGirl
24th February 2010, 12:30
I'm Scottish, stolen the LW, don't wear a kilt and never had a deep fried Mars Bar. But I suppose all that is better than English men dancing in public with hankies! ;)

schmenke
24th February 2010, 16:19
I'm Canadian, don't wear a kilt, never had a deep fried Mars bar and NEVER dance in public (with or without a hankie  )

...Oh, and have stolen the LW.

Donney
24th February 2010, 18:37
I am the rightful master of the LW, period.

NoahsGirl
24th February 2010, 18:44
I am the rightful mistress of the LW

Donney
24th February 2010, 21:23
No, you are a Scott who doesn't wear a kilt....

djarumdudley
24th February 2010, 23:16
I'm neither a scot, nor wear a kilt, but i do have the last word.

Donney
26th February 2010, 14:48
You did, but you don't.

schmenke
26th February 2010, 14:50
Correct. I have it, and am again looking forward to the weekend.

djarumdudley
27th February 2010, 14:45
mine again

Rollo
28th February 2010, 22:47
Can someone please explain the hankie to me? Sure you get to blow your nose, but then you put a piece of cloth with snot on it, back into your pockets.

How is that sane?

NoahsGirl
1st March 2010, 12:30
I don't know Rollo, I prefer tissues that you can throw away. Much more sanitary.

As the LW agrees with me, it's here in Scotland with me.

Rollo
1st March 2010, 21:46
Lang may your lums reek.

djarumdudley
2nd March 2010, 00:52
yes, let them.

NoahsGirl
2nd March 2010, 13:04
Me and LW are ensuring oor lums are reeking

Donney
2nd March 2010, 17:38
Nah I don't believe you...

Rollo
2nd March 2010, 19:20
Donney cannae believe...

...partly due to the fact that he probably has not idea what the hell we're talking about.

Donney
2nd March 2010, 21:13
I know everything!!!

Rollo
3rd March 2010, 00:49
Aal reet.

Are your lums reeky oorya a big jessie?

djarumdudley
3rd March 2010, 02:00
the last word has no time for language desecration

Rollo
3rd March 2010, 03:36
Desecration? Why this be the Queen's own English m'lud.

NoahsGirl
3rd March 2010, 12:43
Although the LW agrees with Rollo, it is with me because it wants to be

Donney
3rd March 2010, 15:11
The LW agrees with me and it's here by my side.

djarumdudley
4th March 2010, 00:37
seems the last word is a turncoat as it's now with me.

Donney
7th March 2010, 11:33
Enough, too much of a good thing...

Rollo
7th March 2010, 22:41
You can't have too much of a good thing... ever.

Even when that good thing turns into a bad thing, the by virtue of the fact that it is no longer a good thing, it isn't a good thing.
Think about cake...
... if you have too much cake, then presumably at some point, this good thing isn't a good thing any more.

Actually, think about about cake - it takes your mind off of work.

CAKE

djarumdudley
9th March 2010, 00:48
funny i was just listening to Cake

Rollo
9th March 2010, 02:58
funny i was just listening to Cake

Chocolate, Black Forest or Orange Poppyseed?

Listening to cake always seems like a patently daft idea to me. It's quite understandably silent... and never seems to go "The Distance"

NoahsGirl
10th March 2010, 12:56
The LW is enjoying some Thortntons chocolate with me.

Donney
10th March 2010, 14:39
The LW enjoys the chocolate but it is not with you...

schmenke
10th March 2010, 19:42
Indeed it is not.

Donney
10th March 2010, 19:46
She knows....

djarumdudley
10th March 2010, 23:36
...not about the last word, like me

Rollo
11th March 2010, 00:56
I'm thinking about having a pie for lunch.

djarumdudley
12th March 2010, 03:34
hope it was lemon meringue, that's a good eatin' pie

NoahsGirl
12th March 2010, 12:32
Key lime Pie is absoloutely delish!

schmenke
12th March 2010, 14:39
No pie for me :( The LW ate it all.

Rollo
12th March 2010, 21:36
The best pie is steak, bacon and red wine.

djarumdudley
12th March 2010, 22:48
ahh, meatpie....

Rollo
14th March 2010, 19:31
Bacon makes everything better, except babies... they need Barbecue Sauce.

NoahsGirl
15th March 2010, 13:04
Babies should be seen and not heard (or smelt for that matter)

schmenke
15th March 2010, 16:56
The LW is seen but seldom heard...

djarumdudley
15th March 2010, 23:16
.....with you

Rollo
16th March 2010, 00:01
... and the sweet silver song of the lark?

djarumdudley
17th March 2010, 00:07
yep that's got me, but at least i have the last word to comfort my confusion.

schmenke
17th March 2010, 00:17
You're even more confused now dudley.

Rollo
17th March 2010, 04:07
Does Dudley do right? Did Dudley do right?

schmenke
17th March 2010, 13:41
It doesn't matter what Dudley do or don't' do, as long as he doesn't have the LW.

Donney
17th March 2010, 14:41
Don't worry he doesn't.

schmenke
17th March 2010, 18:18
You are correct Donney!

Donney
17th March 2010, 19:29
I know I'm really used to it.

Rollo
18th March 2010, 01:39
I assume that the owner of the Ferrari 212 Barchetta parked outside, would be rather annoyed if I touched their car... perhaps I shan't sit in it then.

djarumdudley
18th March 2010, 02:39
perhaps you sould lean up against it casually

Donney
18th March 2010, 07:05
It is the LW's car and now it is parked here.

schmenke
18th March 2010, 15:24
No. The LW drives a 250 GTO.

Donney
18th March 2010, 22:29
That's a fine looking car too...

Rollo
18th March 2010, 22:38
It was built because ol' Enzo was a very cranky man.

djarumdudley
19th March 2010, 00:31
always thought the 250 GTO was what the Stingray wanted to be

Donney
19th March 2010, 18:14
I think it is the most beautiful car ever.

NoahsGirl
20th March 2010, 15:36
I do not agree Donney, Aston Martin DB9 is the most gorgeous car ever made

Donney
21st March 2010, 08:31
I could do with a DB9 and I will buy one if I ever win a lottery but I still prefer the old school beauty of the 250 GTO.

NoahsGirl
22nd March 2010, 12:33
I will take the LW first this week

schmenke
22nd March 2010, 13:37
I'll have it now, thankyouverymuch.

Donney
22nd March 2010, 16:49
The LW is back here.

Rollo
23rd March 2010, 02:42
I do not agree Donney, Aston Martin DB9 is the most gorgeous car ever made

What about the DB4 Zagato? The DB9 is "cool" but I don't know about "gorgeous". I'd save that tag for only the Jaguar D-Type and maybe Lotus Elan S2

djarumdudley
24th March 2010, 03:13
pardon me, i need some last word.

NoahsGirl
24th March 2010, 12:37
What about the DB4 Zagato? The DB9 is "cool" but I don't know about "gorgeous". I'd save that tag for only the Jaguar D-Type and maybe Lotus Elan S2

I think those cars are very pretty, but there is something abut the DB9 that just stands out.

Donney
24th March 2010, 17:10
The LW loves the DB9 too... don't get it wrong...

Rollo
24th March 2010, 19:21
Some say that it's a little bit communist and helped build the Berlin Wall, still other would testify to its power to save babies from cancer. All we know is...

...it's the Last Word.

djarumdudley
25th March 2010, 23:21
and now it's mine.

Rollo
26th March 2010, 01:42
...WAS yours.

That was then; this is now. Ich bin ein Berliner. I am a sausage.

djarumdudley
26th March 2010, 02:09
the sausage is cooked, the last word is mine.

Donney
26th March 2010, 08:02
The LW wants nothing to do with sausages

schmenke
26th March 2010, 14:14
Mmm... sausages... :facelick:

Donney
27th March 2010, 11:17
Too early for lunch....

djarumdudley
29th March 2010, 05:56
...but just right for a midnight snack of last word

Donney
29th March 2010, 06:54
Good morning! says the LW.

schmenke
29th March 2010, 15:42
Indeed it does! :D

djarumdudley
29th March 2010, 22:31
good evening, it says.

Rollo
30th March 2010, 06:02
Good morning, good morning.
It's great to stay up late!
Good morning, good morning, to you.

djarumdudley
31st March 2010, 03:56
i prefer to say good night last word

Donney
31st March 2010, 18:18
My LW.

djarumdudley
1st April 2010, 01:40
thank you for holding the last word while i was not available

Rollo
5th April 2010, 23:54
The number you have called is not available. Please check the number before dialing again.

B A R J.

djarumdudley
8th April 2010, 02:17
you've had the last word far too long.

Rollo
8th April 2010, 21:20
Oh really?

I would have thought it would like being in the antipodes.

djarumdudley
9th April 2010, 01:12
no it really prefers being on this side of the Atlantic

Rollo
9th April 2010, 06:36
If you live in the Bronx, does that mean it's really smelly? Did the term "Bronx Cheer" get that because of a giant fart?

"Well, there's a horrible farty smell in here, and it's definitely not coming from my bottom!"
- Rick, The Young Ones.

NoahsGirl
9th April 2010, 12:36
Nice to read whilst eating lunch!

djarumdudley
9th April 2010, 19:01
If you live in the Bronx, does that mean it's really smelly? Did the term "Bronx Cheer" get that because of a giant fart?

"Well, there's a horrible farty smell in here, and it's definitely not coming from my bottom!"
- Rick, The Young Ones.

no the bronx cheer is from the endearing personalities of our residents.

NoahsGirl
12th April 2010, 12:45
the LW is here in Scotland with me, enjoying the sunshine

djarumdudley
12th April 2010, 19:05
no longer, it is about to head out to a park with me.

NoahsGirl
13th April 2010, 13:49
The LW is back in Scotland

schmenke
13th April 2010, 14:44
Man, that LW gets around. Now it's here in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains... enjoying the precipitation :dozey:

NoahsGirl
13th April 2010, 15:41
It's not raining here (for once), so the LW is back quite happy being dry

djarumdudley
13th April 2010, 22:54
it wasn't a long dry period for the last word.

NoahsGirl
14th April 2010, 13:26
I shall reclaim the LW

djarumdudley
14th April 2010, 13:59
and now it's back with me

Donney
14th April 2010, 14:24
Enough of that.

Rollo
14th April 2010, 21:29
no the bronx cheer is from the endearing personalities of our residents.

Are you all grumpy old farts? :D

djarumdudley
15th April 2010, 14:26
if only....!

Donney
19th April 2010, 06:55
My first LW of the week :D

NoahsGirl
19th April 2010, 12:44
It's now my 1st LW of the week

Rollo
20th April 2010, 00:53
Are all Scots allowed to be transvestites or does that only apply to beardy chaps in skirty trous?

Donney
20th April 2010, 06:59
I will ask the LW.

djarumdudley
20th April 2010, 18:30
you would need the last word to be able to ask it anything.

schmenke
20th April 2010, 19:58
All queries can be directed to me then I'll pass them along to the LW.

Rollo
21st April 2010, 00:18
Mr Schmenke, you are listed as being in Cowtown, Canada. Is that Calgary perchance?

schmenke
21st April 2010, 01:15
Yes, that is correct. The LW and I are currently enjoying the (temporary :uhoh: ) fine weather here.

Donney
21st April 2010, 06:52
I hope it was good.

NoahsGirl
21st April 2010, 18:19
Are all Scots allowed to be transvestites or does that only apply to beardy chaps in skirty trous?

The LW and I believe that people can dress how they like, so both.

CarlMetro
21st April 2010, 22:27
Both you and the LW are transvestites?

Rollo
22nd April 2010, 00:22
In a land of thistles you'd think that the Scots of all people would invent better pants.

Donney
22nd April 2010, 07:08
:D

schmenke
22nd April 2010, 20:02
The LW is amused.

CarlMetro
22nd April 2010, 21:17
Indeed it is

schmenke
22nd April 2010, 21:25
Wow, Carl, you justed posted #8888 !
That's a very lucky number in Chinese mythology :)

Rollo
23rd April 2010, 01:17
Dear Carl,

Please find enclosed your Self Assessment Statement from HM Revenue & Customs, we note that you owe us £8888 as your 2008-09 Income Tax.

That IS a very lucky number in Chinese mythology :D

djarumdudley
23rd April 2010, 03:07
enclosed in this post is the last word

schmenke
23rd April 2010, 14:45
Nope. This post contains the LW.

djarumdudley
24th April 2010, 05:22
it did.

CarlMetro
24th April 2010, 09:03
Strange, I couldn't see it there..........

Donney
24th April 2010, 10:17
I guess you missed it.

djarumdudley
25th April 2010, 03:02
like you did.

schmenke
26th April 2010, 15:02
Just to be clear, and to avoid further bickering, this post shall claim the LW.

CarlMetro
26th April 2010, 16:16
Only on a tempory basis though

djarumdudley
27th April 2010, 00:08
like yours

Rollo
29th April 2010, 01:05
You may not post new threads

So there. Nyah nyah nyah!

CarlMetro
29th April 2010, 12:05
Never mind Rollo, I'm sure they'll let you back in again someday :p

Incidently, the LW was asking me where Donnie Darco went to? If anyone knows, let us know please :)

Donney
29th April 2010, 17:24
I think she is taking care of her 10009988675050 cats...

Rollo
30th April 2010, 02:57
"Red Bull gives you Wings"?

Like F**k they do. I brought some the other day for Mrs Rollo (aptly named by the way) and she got most irate with me.

Not only could she not do any cycling, horseback riding or rollerblading but she said they didn't even have a little bit of string on.

CarlMetro
30th April 2010, 17:24
Ah, Friday at last. Me and the LW are of to London for a long weekend and will see you all next week TTFN.

djarumdudley
2nd May 2010, 06:29
some good night last word.

Donney
3rd May 2010, 07:32
Good morning Last Word.

CarlMetro
4th May 2010, 21:39
That's long enough methinks, my turn for a while :D

djarumdudley
5th May 2010, 01:27
that was enough

Donney
5th May 2010, 07:17
It is never enough.

djarumdudley
6th May 2010, 00:38
nope, it's not.

CarlMetro
6th May 2010, 01:07
true

Rollo
6th May 2010, 06:11
To everyone in the UK:

Today the 6th of May is your chance to vote, so go around to every polling station you can to make your vote count, again and again and again...

Vote Early, Vote OFTEN :D

Donney
11th May 2010, 09:55
Yaaaaawwwwwwn.

CarlMetro
11th May 2010, 15:14
Are we keeping you awake?

Donney
12th May 2010, 19:27
Nah, I'm fine thank you!

CarlMetro
13th May 2010, 11:46
Are you sure?

djarumdudley
13th May 2010, 23:31
are you sure about having the last word?

CarlMetro
14th May 2010, 09:20
It seems to be the case, so yes.

Donney
14th May 2010, 09:47
That's odd...

djarumdudley
14th May 2010, 15:03
some last word prior to being off to the dmv

Rollo
17th May 2010, 01:06
Don't believe the elderly female co-inhabitant's testimony (old wives tale) that drinking olive oil and lemon juice will clear out gallstones. I tried this remedy over the weekend and switched from my usual Newcastle Brown Ale, to pints of Toscana Extra Virgin (he he he) Olive Oil.

I hope that you can learn from my experience.

MrJan
17th May 2010, 14:06
You people are boring the LW, it needs some time with me so that it can cheer up

Rollo
17th May 2010, 21:35

"You can't mend people can you. You can't mend people!!!!"
Dr Who, Season 19 (Kinda)

MrJan
17th May 2010, 22:04
Having a scratch, LW.

CarlMetro
17th May 2010, 22:50
Well you scratch, I'll take the LW away from your flees

MrJan
17th May 2010, 23:52
Now it's a picking my nose type LW.

Rollo
18th May 2010, 02:08
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2345418/pick_your_nose.html
According to Dr. Friedrich Bischinger, a lung specialist based in Innsbruck, Austria, picking your nose and eating it is one of the best ways to stay healthy.

Researchers have proven that lack of exposure to infectious agents are linked to an increase in how susceptible a person is to allergic diseases. Scientists are trying to achieve the same results using far more complicated methods. People who pick their noses and eat it are getting a free natural boost to their immune system.

So there you go. By you picking your nose Mr Yeo, you are reducing your impact on the NHS.

MrJan
18th May 2010, 08:23
I like to think that I'm doing my bit.

Donney
18th May 2010, 10:26
The LW is surprised.

MrJan
18th May 2010, 12:06
The LW is never surprised, the LW knows all.

Rollo
18th May 2010, 12:40
And Mr Yeo picks his nose... eew.

MrJan
18th May 2010, 12:43
Omnomnomnom

djarumdudley
19th May 2010, 23:44
it's far time for some last word for me.

MrJan
20th May 2010, 08:33

MrJan
21st May 2010, 08:20
It's only one of them.

Donney
21st May 2010, 09:03
Take care of your eyes and I'll take care of the LW.

MrJan
21st May 2010, 10:23

Rollo

- Outnumbered

MrJan
25th May 2010, 23:21
I've only recently discovered the joys of Outnumbered. Some of it is absolutely inspired, especially the lines that the kids come out with.

Rollo
26th May 2010, 01:51
I only saw it for the first time on ABC2 last night.

Ah the joys of digital TV.

djarumdudley
26th May 2010, 03:41
ah the joys of last word.

Rollo
26th May 2010, 06:02
I am typing this message with hobo gloves on, because it's that cold.

MrJan
26th May 2010, 18:23
It's not cold.

Rollo
26th May 2010, 21:32
Right now it's cold and rainy enough in Sydney, to make Geordies put on a vest.

There's flash flooding and particles have stop moving at the molecular level, but still not quite cold enough for Geordies to put on a jumper.

MrJan
26th May 2010, 21:55
Been nice here. You should move.

djarumdudley
27th May 2010, 01:55

The LW and I spent yesterday planting raspberry and blueberry bushes that the wife purchased from the garden centre. I'm not sure that blueberries are well suited to our local climate but I didn't tell that to the missus :mark:

MrJan
