Rollo, would you be so kind as to PM me this week's winning lottery pics.

This thread is useless without pics

MrJan

I thihnk that it's chips which she has a problem with :p :

Rollo
13th November 2008, 00:02
In the words of Sharon from the 1991 TV series "Joshua Jones":
Pies make you fat.
Yet the hypocrisy of this is that she then goes and sells pies from her catering van.

djarumdudley
13th November 2008, 01:15
ah but pies equal cash!

Donney
13th November 2008, 07:43
and cash makes you rich.

MrJan
13th November 2008, 09:55
And rich means that you can buy pies

Donney
13th November 2008, 11:01
but they make you fat, you know....

MrJan
13th November 2008, 13:56
sadly I know all too well. Apparently beer also makes you fat.

Donney
13th November 2008, 14:47
Wrong, beer makes people more attractive, at least at night after some pints....

MrJan
13th November 2008, 17:19
You say that but over the weekend I must have knocked back at least 8 pints and if anything was less attractive.

Rollo
13th November 2008, 21:54
Like George IV?

Before he married Caroline of Brunswick, it was reported that he said to the Earl of Malmesbury "Harris, I am not very well, pray get me a glass of brandy". He continued to drink brandy for three days until the morning of the wedding.

He was so drunk on their wedding night that he collapsed into the bedroom's fireplace grate and remained there until dawn.

Now there's dedication for you. :D

djarumdudley
14th November 2008, 04:16
or a severe case of cold feet.

MrJan
14th November 2008, 08:24
Sounds like she was a bit of a minger :D

Rollo
15th November 2008, 00:32
One of the book I have describes her as:
Caroline was short, fat, ugly and never changed her undergarments, and rarely washed. Her body odour was overwhelming. For her part, she found him fat, ugly and rude.

Ah, a marriage made in heaven. But yes quite literally a minger. From the OED:
Minger - adj
1. (British slang) to be unattractive (person or object)
2. (British slang) to be foul smelling

MrJan
17th November 2008, 14:36
Another match made in heaven, me and the LW

schmenke
17th November 2008, 16:49
A match short lived...

MrJan
17th November 2008, 17:01
We're willing to give it another go though and I accept that the relationship isn't always exclusive ;) :D

schmenke
17th November 2008, 18:40
Yep, that LW gets around :p :

MrJan
17th November 2008, 22:42
It's a lady of the night that LW.

djarumdudley
18th November 2008, 04:37
i'll have my turn then.

MrJan
18th November 2008, 10:27
OI, give it back :p :

djarumdudley
19th November 2008, 01:30

I want you to play with my ding-a-ling!

MrJan
21st November 2008, 16:18
I'm not touching your ding-a-ling!!!

Donney
21st November 2008, 17:24
Poor schmenke :D

MrJan
21st November 2008, 23:01
Oi. You aren't supposed to have the LW Donney :p : I'm trying to get to third in the standings and you just happen to hold that spot at the minute so be a good chap and disappear for a while :D :p :

Donney
24th November 2008, 17:18
I did I spent the whole weekend in the mountains enjoying the pleasures of rallying, so there you had your chance and you didn't use it.

MrJan
25th November 2008, 08:39
No other bugger wanted to play

schmenke
25th November 2008, 16:20
Play what?

MrJan
25th November 2008, 16:32
The bugle

Rollo
25th November 2008, 22:29
I played the piano... in chess once :D

Donney
26th November 2008, 06:09
I have never played piano, I have touched a piano but never played it.

MrJan
26th November 2008, 15:31
Come and touch it Jermaine.

schmenke
26th November 2008, 18:08
Who's Jermaine?

MrJan
26th November 2008, 23:07
He lives with Bret, they're in a two man novelty band but that doesn't mean that it's all about the poontang.

Donney
27th November 2008, 17:21
Oh, that's clear then.

schmenke
27th November 2008, 17:59
I'd like a gold plated cow.

MrJan
27th November 2008, 21:02
Who wouldn't?

Rollo
28th November 2008, 00:12
On the screen currently are the following posts:
- I'd like a gold plated cow.
- Who wouldn't?

Followed by this advert:
- Do you like Ashley Tisdale?

Am I therefore to assume that because GoogleAds employs some form of smart advert system, that whoever this Ashley Tisdale person is, that she is in fact a gold plated cow?

Ashley is a good name for a cow, but then again so is "Steak"!

MrJan
28th November 2008, 11:25
I reckon Ashley Tisdale must only be mentioned because of my signature which refers to the God like manager of Exeter City, the cravated Paul Tisdale.

Donney
28th November 2008, 19:03
Ok, then.

Donney
29th November 2008, 09:38
And even more OK the LW is still mine!!! :D

The LW and I are going to watch some vids of the times when the Wales rally was the RAC and the drivers were real sportsmen.

The LW service will be resumed on Monday.

MrJan
5th December 2008, 09:51
Even 10 years ago was more of a challenge than the circus of today.

Donney
5th December 2008, 11:14
If you compare 10 years old rallying to the stupidity they run today it was the biggest challenge ever.

They've killed it, they have!

MrJan
5th December 2008, 11:23
Indeed. At least we still have events like the Roger Albert Clark, I loved going to that the other week, proper rallying through proper stages in proper cars :D :D :burnout:

Donney
5th December 2008, 14:40
The LW agrees.

MrJan
5th December 2008, 15:20
It usually does

schmenke
5th December 2008, 16:42
The LW will be enjoying skiing with a 4-yr old tomorrow :D

Donney
5th December 2008, 17:16
Poor 4 year old, the LW is not happy when skiing.

MrJan
6th December 2008, 19:41
Who is?

Donney
8th December 2008, 11:10
Schmenke I reckon.

MrJan

Who?

schmenke

Dr. Who

NoahsGirl
8th December 2008, 19:28
The LW and I have some catching up to do, so we'll be away for a bit

MrJan
8th December 2008, 20:56
You might be away for a bit but the LW won't :p :

Donney
9th December 2008, 17:43
Because it'll be here you mean?

MrJan
9th December 2008, 20:02

MrJan
12th December 2008, 20:37

Donney
13th December 2008, 08:04
Hippos don't eat fish they are vegetarians.

djarumdudley
13th December 2008, 08:19
according to the knowledgeable Milton Bradley Hippos have a preference to devour rapidly moving plastic marbles.

MrJan

You have to be a nerd.

Donney
18th December 2008, 15:51
Do you need a license for that?

MrJan
18th December 2008, 16:08
I dunno

schmenke
18th December 2008, 18:48
The LW is not a nerd.

MrJan
18th December 2008, 20:17
The LW is nothing.

schmenke
18th December 2008, 20:30

The LW means everything to me!

MrJan
18th December 2008, 23:14

mmmm, not so sure

Donney
20th December 2008, 11:34
Trust me.

MrJan
21st December 2008, 15:08
I choose not to

Rollo
21st December 2008, 21:32
I chose not to choose life, I chose something else.

MrJan
21st December 2008, 23:26
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a f*ing big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of f*ing fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the f*** you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing f*ing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, f*ed up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life...

But why would I want to do a thing like that?

Donney
22nd December 2008, 11:39
To finally make a choice?

MrJan
22nd December 2008, 12:45

Donney
2nd January 2009, 16:20

MrJan
2nd January 2009, 17:49
It was. The LW is very excited about getting to ride in an MR2 tomorrow :D :D

Donney
5th January 2009, 12:42
I understand that but don't get too used to its company.

MrJan
5th January 2009, 13:27
The LW didn't get it's ride in an MR2, stupid tax rules, stupid insurance people :(

schmenke
6th January 2009, 19:37
Does Toyota still make the MR2?

How was the feast Donney? :D

MrJan
6th January 2009, 23:21
I dunno, don't think they do. MIne certainly ain't new anyway :)

Donney
7th January 2009, 16:30
Does Toyota still make the MR2?

How was the feast Donney? :D

I think they don't at leat not in Spain: http://www.toyota.es/cars/new_cars/index.aspx

The feast was abundant, well prepared, and accompanied by an assorted selection of wines and some other alcoholic mixes. It lasted well into the following morning and was topped by a nice breakfast of chocolate and churros as it should be.

The following day was a completely different matter though.

MrJan
7th January 2009, 17:03
Pooooooooo

MrJan
9th January 2009, 08:29
Damn it's early, bloody day off and I'm up at some ungodly time.

schmenke
9th January 2009, 14:28
So, why don't you do something productive?

Donney
9th January 2009, 16:06
Who, him?

MrJan
9th January 2009, 19:04
I couldn't do productive because I had to look after my Mum, eventually did manage to get something done and put the sat nav in my car so that the wires are hidden.

schmenke
9th January 2009, 22:53
Yeah, I know what you mean... The wires to/from the sat radio in my car looks like spaghetti :s

MrJan
9th January 2009, 23:18
It's been a nightmare recently. Got a Snooper speed camera detector, sat nav and my phone thing, all of which are plugged into a cigarette lighter adaptor which means even more wires, oh and I use a 3.5 to 3.5 jack to plug the iPod into the stereo which is another metre of cable. Now they are all nicely tucked away beihind the fascia :)

Donney
12th January 2009, 07:23
Aaah the joys of technology.

MrJan

MrJan
12th January 2009, 13:32

http://www.satnavcompany.com/productdb/strabo_with_s3/index.html

Wouldn't be much use for you though, only got UK & I :D

Donney
12th January 2009, 18:31
Thanks I'll ask the LW :p

MrJan
12th January 2009, 21:24
I'm sure the LW will tell you that I got a very good one, with a free speed camera detector too.

Donney
13th January 2009, 08:56
Sure it will.

MrJan
13th January 2009, 12:32
Anyone want to give me a job??

Donney
13th January 2009, 14:28
I would but I bet you'd want to be paid for it.

MrJan
13th January 2009, 14:45
If you paid for me to fly to spain and offered room and board then I'd be happy.

Rollo
13th January 2009, 23:42
But then you'd be in Spain. That's a fate worse than Skegness.

MrJan
13th January 2009, 23:52
No, it's all tapas, beer and siestaering :D ;) :p :

Donney
14th January 2009, 07:06
Cerveza not beer :p

MrJan
14th January 2009, 09:03
Maybe for you Johnny Foreigner but over here it's beer :p : Stangely we actually use the words tapas and siesta though :S

Donney
14th January 2009, 14:41
I know what you use there, I have even sampled it, but since we were talking about Spain....

Anyway tapas and siesta are great habits.

MrJan
14th January 2009, 16:08
That's not cerveza or beer. that's stout that he's drinking

schmenke
14th January 2009, 23:58
I know what you use there, I have even sampled it, but since we were talking about Spain....

Anyway tapas and siesta are great habits.

Habits which I could gladly pick up :D ...although my employer may have a different opinion :(

MrJan
15th January 2009, 01:55
Day off :D

Rollo
15th January 2009, 03:06
Either way, you don't want to end up in Spain. Heck Spanish people don't want to be in Spain. Chris Columbus' was thought of as a great explorer but in reality he was like:

"Sod this bloody place for a joke. I'm off daan t' pub tae git me some lasses and beer lyke" and when he got to the New World, even he was thinking "bloody Mexicans everywhere"

Donney
15th January 2009, 07:54
A reason to stay in Spain:
