Not, of course, that I spend my days pining after a film star I'll never meet and know very little about. But if I did meet her... :D

CarlMetro
15th June 2007, 00:12
I like stuff that makes me laugh so my favorites would Planes, Trains & Automobiles or The Blues Brothers or any of the Peter Sellers Pink Panther Series. But then I'm old ;(

LeonBrooke
15th June 2007, 00:18
I've got East of Eden in my DVD collection, so I like some old stuff too :)

DonnieDarco
15th June 2007, 10:46
You forgot Airplane :D

Donney
15th June 2007, 11:13
I'll ask the Lw about its preferences.

djarumdudley
15th June 2007, 11:26
and you'll discover it prefers to be with me!

stevie_gerrard
15th June 2007, 14:05
i doubt that really :p :

CarlMetro
15th June 2007, 14:59
So do I :D

schmenke
15th June 2007, 15:47
Surely the LW prefers to stay with schmenke ;) :D

CarlMetro
15th June 2007, 16:14
Who told you that?

Captain VXR
15th June 2007, 16:17
Not the lw for sure

CarlMetro
15th June 2007, 17:47
Well it wouldn't, would it? Because it would have to tell a lie.

DonnieDarco
15th June 2007, 18:14
Lying is pretty commonplace around these 'ere parts :D

CarlMetro
15th June 2007, 23:55
Maybe for some

djarumdudley
16th June 2007, 02:18
including you

Captain VXR
16th June 2007, 09:32
et toi :p
The lw is learning french :D

Donney
16th June 2007, 14:24
Enough studying for the day.

DonnieDarco
17th June 2007, 00:31
I didn't do any!! :D

CarlMetro
17th June 2007, 02:20
Why would it, it knows all it needs to know, and that is it's favorite place is with me :D

DonnieDarco
17th June 2007, 03:35
I dispute that :D

DonnieDarco
17th June 2007, 03:44
Where's Rollo? Has he gone off on holiday, without completing forms 75361a, 75361b, 75869d, 75871h and 75962r? (75962r must only be completed if you have a dog or want one, and 75361a is to be completed by every single member of your family, especially if they breed ferrets)

I think we should be told, there's all sorts of complaint forms to fill in :D

CarlMetro
17th June 2007, 04:02
I dispute that :D

There's a surprise  :p :

LeonBrooke
17th June 2007, 08:43
The LW and I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer this morning. Great movie :D

Donney
17th June 2007, 10:39
Where's Rollo? Has he gone off on holiday, without completing forms 75361a, 75361b, 75869d, 75871h and 75962r? (75962r must only be completed if you have a dog or want one, and 75361a is to be completed by every single member of your family, especially if they breed ferrets)

I'm afraid I'll be going on holiday in a week time so I might need the LW to help me fill all those forms.

LeonBrooke
17th June 2007, 10:47
The LW has sympathy but it prefers watching movies with me :D

Captain VXR
17th June 2007, 11:20
And prefers watching motorsport with me :p

Donney
17th June 2007, 11:41
It will watch the end of the Le Mans 24 hrs. with me.

DonnieDarco
17th June 2007, 17:18
Donney, you should come to the F1 chat :D

stevie_gerrard
17th June 2007, 22:37
my LW, celebrating another british victory

DonnieDarco
17th June 2007, 23:22
And............now its not :D

LeonBrooke
18th June 2007, 03:22
No, it's with me, relaxing and procrastinating :D

Rollo
18th June 2007, 05:07
Where's Rollo? Has he gone off on holiday, without completing forms 75361a, 75361b, 75869d, 75871h and 75962r?

Yes I have been on holiday. Furthermore I will need to complete a lot more than forms 75361a, 75361b, 75869d, 75871h and 75962r.

Let it be known that within 11 months, the lady current being dallianced as the present mistress in waiting has consented (with persuasion of cut diamond) to legally change her surname such that it matches mine by means of the institution (because let's be totally fair, I needed to be put into an institution years ago) of wedlock via matrimony.

Daft lady, that's all I can say.

djarumdudley
18th June 2007, 05:57
my last word

Rollo
18th June 2007, 06:19
Comgratulations, you've just accumulated 3 credit points towards your degree from the University of Wrong.

CarlMetro
18th June 2007, 08:36
So was it a big gun that you held to her head whilst asking the ultimate question, or was her Dad holding one at yours whilst you asked? :p :

Seriously mate, congrats  When's the big day?............and if you need a good DJ I don't cost much, depending on distance I have to travel of course ;)

Donney
18th June 2007, 10:39
Donney, you should come to the F1 chat :D

I would have but I don't have internet at home :(

Congratulations Rollo, watch out for Carl I've heard he tends to play "Lady in red" a little bit too often.

:p

CarlMetro
18th June 2007, 10:44
I don't think five times in three hours is too much

Donney
18th June 2007, 11:42
The LW seems to think so ;)

CarlMetro
18th June 2007, 12:09
It's the only reason I play it so often, it happens to be the LW's favorite :D

Donney
18th June 2007, 12:11
Actually the LW hates that song.

CarlMetro
18th June 2007, 13:08
Then why does it know all the words and sing it in the shower?

Donney
18th June 2007, 15:09
I wonder why you spy on the LW while it takes a shower.....

Captain VXR
18th June 2007, 16:47
Carl spies on his fake lw, the real lw hates that song

DonnieDarco
18th June 2007, 20:05
Rollo!!!! Congrats, very happy news :D

CarlMetro
18th June 2007, 20:09
I do not spy on the LW, even my neighbours hear it singing in the shower, and they're at work 10 miles away :\

LeonBrooke
18th June 2007, 23:24
Congrats Rollo, the LW and I wish you a happy future :D

Rollo
19th June 2007, 00:22
The date is not quite set yet. I think we're looking at somewhere near the end of May... hopefully the weekend after the Cup Final :D

LeonBrooke
19th June 2007, 00:26
I was a bit confused until the LW told me it thought you meant May next year...

stevie_gerrard
19th June 2007, 01:15
congrats rollo, hope you enjoy the rest of ur lives together :)

djarumdudley
19th June 2007, 03:01
congrats and good luck rollo!

Rollo
19th June 2007, 05:18
I was a bit confused until the LW told me it thought you meant May next year...

Sorry to disappoint you, but I was thinking a good time would be May 1929. We already know that I'm a time traveller and this is still before the Depression, so everyone should be having a megabrill time...

... and we'll see Al Capone dancing the Charleston on top of a flagpole :D

LeonBrooke
19th June 2007, 05:33
Make sure to post some photos - and to let us know what the 1920s were like :)

Rollo
19th June 2007, 07:59
I went back to 1885 for a bit once, but there was some guy in a Police Call box and this silver gull-wing coupe that was hogging all of the best parking spots.

CarlMetro
19th June 2007, 09:44
I hate it when that happens.

Donney
19th June 2007, 10:12
So does the LW.

DonnieDarco
19th June 2007, 11:59
When what happens, this? :D

Donney
19th June 2007, 12:10
That? Maybe, the LW loves to be with me.

Captain VXR
19th June 2007, 16:38
But more with me :p

Donney
19th June 2007, 16:47
Nah.

CarlMetro
19th June 2007, 18:02
I agree, why would it when it can be with me :D

Donney
19th June 2007, 19:34
It can but that does not mean it wants. :p

CarlMetro
19th June 2007, 19:50
Of course it does, where else would it want to be?

MrJan
19th June 2007, 20:56
Muse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!woooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CarlMetro
19th June 2007, 22:25
Nah, it's not too keen on them :p :

Rollo

Mr Blair likes to pretend that he has pie.

LeonBrooke
20th June 2007, 00:19
Wow. The LW does not like that.

But the LW does like Muse. Its favourite album is Origin of Symmetry.

CarlMetro
20th June 2007, 00:38
Been studying at the school of wrongness again Leon?

LeonBrooke
20th June 2007, 00:43
Donnie is a good teacher, but I'm right on this point.

CarlMetro
20th June 2007, 00:45
Ah I see you have learned well, you must be her new teachers pet ;)

Rollo
20th June 2007, 05:19
Ahah!

LeonBrooke must be some sort of cat... so that's where the wee comes from! :D
It all makes perfect sense now.

LeonBrooke
20th June 2007, 05:39
Oh no. I fell right into that one, didn't I...?

Well, I've just been reading interesting bits of the Crimes Act (1961) for New Zealand, and I have grounds to believe that you could all be convicted of piracy! ...or treason!

...possibly it's one of the indecent acts... but it's there, I'm sure of it!

Rollo
20th June 2007, 06:29
http://www.legislation.govt.nz/librarie ... .6&record= (http://www.legislation.govt.nz/libraries/contents/om_isapi.dll?clientID=1666663394&infobase=pal_statutes.nfo&jd=a1961-043%2fs.6&record=){17FC5}&softpage=DOC

Sect 6. Persons not to be tried in respect of things done outside New Zealand

Subject to the provisions of section 7 of this Act, no act done or omitted outside New Zealand is an offence, unless it is an offence by virtue of any provision of this Act or of any other enactment.

You need to read some more interesting bits... or explain how even if you find grounds of a criminal act, why we can be tried under NZ law considering we're not on NZ territory, nor harming a NZ ship, nor putting the person of HM Queen Bess 2 under harm.

DonnieDarco
20th June 2007, 09:41
Blimey, have I walked in on WW3? :D

And can I just inform the LW thread at large how much I loathe the ads being at the bottom of the page now?? I do wish things could be left alone.

CarlMetro
20th June 2007, 09:44
I agree.

Donney
20th June 2007, 15:14
Me too, I think we should worry.

DonnieDarco
20th June 2007, 16:24
Odd!! The one in here seems to have vanished now :D But it was here a second ago! Maybe its me :D

CarlMetro
20th June 2007, 16:33
It must be you 'cos I can see morcambe motorsport shop all over the bottom :s

Captain VXR
20th June 2007, 17:18
The lw hates adverts for Carlmetro's elbow licking

Donney
20th June 2007, 17:20
I see Corsa Nova rally parts, Wheatsheaf Hotel, Rally and Belstaff UK distributor, all of them very interesting.

schmenke
20th June 2007, 17:21
Haven't been here for a few days... I'm sure the LW misses me :D

BTW, what's up with Rollo? :p :

DonnieDarco
20th June 2007, 18:00
Bugger, now its showing indoor karting at Glasgow, like the thread I started in feedback!!!!

I'm starting to really dislike this forum :D

Its a good job I quite like some of the people in it, or I'd be outta here ;)

Donney
20th June 2007, 19:14
Aussie metric boy will be pleased to know ;)

stevie_gerrard
20th June 2007, 20:58
my LW

DonnieDarco
20th June 2007, 21:03
Aussie metric boy will be pleased to know ;)

Best not tell him then :D

schmenke
20th June 2007, 21:18
Huh?

djarumdudley
20th June 2007, 21:29
no last word haver you.

CarlMetro
20th June 2007, 21:40
Because it's spending some quality time with me :D

DonnieDarco
20th June 2007, 22:32
Is there such a thing? :D

LeonBrooke
20th June 2007, 23:43
http://www.legislation.govt.nz/libraries/contents/om_isapi.dll?clientID=1666663394&infobase=pal_statutes.nfo&jd=a1961-043%2fs.6&record={17FC5}&softpage=DOC

You need to read some more interesting bits... or explain how even if you find grounds of a criminal act, why we can be tried under NZ law considering we're not on NZ territory, nor harming a NZ ship, nor putting the person of HM Queen Bess 2 under harm.

You're conscientious :)

Well, let me clarify: If you were in NZ territory, and you did commit a criminal act, the you would have committed a criminal act under the Act :D

How's my semantics?

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 00:22

Oh..................erm....................OK then. Time for a bit of yoinking before I go to bed methinks :D

LeonBrooke
21st June 2007, 00:26
I was trying to baffle you all into running away and leaving the LW with me, but Rollo saw through the nonsense...

So I'll just have to take the LW myself.

And anyway, I think yoinking comes under "indecent acts" under the act :D

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 00:29
No, infact I know a few New Zealand yoinkers :p :

LeonBrooke
21st June 2007, 00:33
That's disgusting!

Tell me their names and addresses immediately so I can report them to the police :D

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 00:35
Yeah, like you don't know them too  :p :

LeonBrooke
21st June 2007, 00:37
:s hock: what are you accusing my friends of? Most of the people I know are nurses, and as such are respectable, and would never yoink!

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 00:39
So you're claiming that you've never ever ever yoinked before then?

LeonBrooke
21st June 2007, 00:43
I've always taken the LW with honesty in my heart, and it has always been very happy to accompany me. I do not snatch poor defenceless beings like the LW in the manner in which you do, Mr Metro.

You, and all others who do what you do, should be ashamed of yourselves.

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 01:37
I am, very ashamed, but it won't stop me doing it :D

LeonBrooke
21st June 2007, 02:49
Then you are- you are- you are a morally bankrupt person, completely unfit to be guardian of the LW for even a moment!

Rollo
21st June 2007, 03:51
Calm down eh bro.

Get your jandals on and let's go tramping!

LeonBrooke
21st June 2007, 03:55
Sure.

You pack the tents and the sleeping bags and I'll pack the espresso machine, plasma TV, computer and satellite uplink for the internet. How many people are coming? I need to know how much coffee to bring...

DonnieDarco
21st June 2007, 09:45
Yawn, I'm not going anywhere, am still in my jim jams :D

Donney
21st June 2007, 10:11
I'll have the LW for a while.

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 11:11
Yawn, I'm not going anywhere, am still in my jim jams :D

Not an image I want to imagine when I've just got up :\

Donney
21st June 2007, 12:03
You wake up early don't you?

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 12:24
Not when I have a day off, no :)

DonnieDarco
21st June 2007, 13:17
I look very fetching in my jim jams, I'll have you know :D

Donney
21st June 2007, 14:40
Undoubtedly....

This thread is useless without pics!

NOT!

:erm:

Captain VXR
21st June 2007, 16:26
We want pics

djarumdudley
21st June 2007, 16:36
in lieu of pics, i'll take the last word.

DonnieDarco
21st June 2007, 17:57
Oh, I'm hardly likely to subject myself to an avalanche of derision (yes, even more :D ) by submitting pics of myself in my jim jams, now am I :D

Donney
21st June 2007, 18:04
You coward!

;)

MrJan
21st June 2007, 18:27
blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa smnar smnurrre blllllllluuurrrrrrrrrrrrrbbbbbb wooooo

DonnieDarco
21st June 2007, 19:08
Look out everyone, Miguel's been at the sauce again, he may be about to blow :D

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 19:29
Just as long as he ain't blowin chunks :\

schmenke
21st June 2007, 20:16
Miguel is looped again :mark:

CarlMetro
21st June 2007, 21:41
I don't think you need to add 'again' to your statement ;)

schmenke
21st June 2007, 21:49
True :D

LeonBrooke
22nd June 2007, 00:06
There are some statements above with which I must agree, and some with which I must disagree...

...make up your mind which are which :D

stevie_gerrard
22nd June 2007, 00:36
i already have :p :

LeonBrooke
22nd June 2007, 00:42
So, which are agreed with and which aren't?

Rollo
22nd June 2007, 02:24
This statement is false.

LeonBrooke
22nd June 2007, 03:12
No, this one is.

Rollo
22nd June 2007, 07:58
Boobs. Heh m heh. I just wanna say that again... Boobs!

Thank you drive through to the next window.

Mind the gap.

A banner with a strange device, EXCELSIOR! :D

LeonBrooke
22nd June 2007, 09:27
Uh, yeah...

Um, I... I'm sure a statement like that is against the law somehow!

Donney
22nd June 2007, 10:02
... or somewhere over the rainbow.

I'll take the LW so I forget that song.

LeonBrooke
22nd June 2007, 10:07
I don't know what's going on.

Donney
22nd June 2007, 10:43
But it keeps going nevertheless.

LeonBrooke
22nd June 2007, 11:03
It is greater than all of us - if we all left (not that we will), the LW would go on...

Donney
22nd June 2007, 11:27
The LW would be with me.

CarlMetro
22nd June 2007, 15:44
...........if it weren't with me :D

Donney
22nd June 2007, 16:57
Don't worry it wouldn't. :)

Captain VXR
22nd June 2007, 17:49
with me for the weekend :p

stevie_gerrard
22nd June 2007, 23:18
i doubt that

DonnieDarco
23rd June 2007, 00:50
Me too :D

CarlMetro
23rd June 2007, 02:57
........and I make three of us :D Another munching LW from me, just finishing off a bowl of Rice Crispies :lips:

Captain VXR
23rd June 2007, 09:23
But the lw is mine for the weekend :p

DonnieDarco
23rd June 2007, 11:39
I just had a cheese and onion crisp sandwich :D

Donney
23rd June 2007, 17:28
The LW and I wish you a great weekend! :)

CarlMetro
24th June 2007, 00:58
Where as me and the LW wish we hadn't run out of Cheerios ;( Weetabix munch tonight :(

LeonBrooke
24th June 2007, 07:53
The LW is glad to have left you behind, having read that.

Captain VXR
24th June 2007, 12:18
And is with me of course

Donney
24th June 2007, 15:09
Of course it isn't.

Captain VXR
24th June 2007, 20:03
Erm yes it is

CarlMetro
24th June 2007, 23:16
Erm...........no it's not :p :

Rollo
25th June 2007, 00:05
Not what?

Huh?

I like cake!

LeonBrooke
25th June 2007, 00:31
So do I, but do you think I get it whenever I like?

DonnieDarco
25th June 2007, 00:32
Me too!

stevie_gerrard
25th June 2007, 00:35
i think there should be more chocolate cake on offer on this forum :D

LeonBrooke
25th June 2007, 00:39
Yeah, someone go and get some chocolate cake!

DonnieDarco
25th June 2007, 00:51
Off you go then Leon!! See you when you get back :D

LeonBrooke
25th June 2007, 00:56
I'm skint!

Can I borrow some money?

DonnieDarco
25th June 2007, 01:08
Yes, here's eleventy million pounds!! :D

LeonBrooke
25th June 2007, 01:10
Yes!

Ha ha, now I'll be able to lure the LW away with huge amounts of money, and I'll be able to buy lots of chocolate cake.

Really shot yourself in the foot there, Donnie, to use a cliché :D

Rollo
25th June 2007, 07:58
If members will now stand on their heads whilst holding a 20p coin up to the sunlight, they will see that Ms Darco's offer of eleventy million pounds is in fact a forgery and is instead written on the side of a grand piano in Dutch...

... which is really quite remarkable don't you think?

DonnieDarco
25th June 2007, 08:49
Took me ages Rollo, really it did :D

CarlMetro
25th June 2007, 09:04
that took you ages? Skip all the art classes at school did you? :p :

DonnieDarco
25th June 2007, 09:07
I don't normally speak Dutch :p :

CarlMetro
25th June 2007, 15:38
Me neither...........what's that got to do with the price of chips?

Captain VXR
25th June 2007, 17:02
nothin. are my lard and thai sweet chilli crisps ready yet?

DonnieDarco
25th June 2007, 20:00
I had to write on the side of a grand piano in..............oh never mind :D

MrJan
25th June 2007, 21:20
I saw a grand piano. It had no writing on so obviously had not been sullied by Ms 'Cat Wee' Darco.

Rollo

Ahah, so someone out there is issuing blank grand pianos!
I think we should inform MI5, MI6 or the KGB of the possibility of fraudulent grand pianos being passed into general circulation.

Remember kids, you should always fill in all of the blanks on your grand piano before you make a payment. :D

CarlMetro
26th June 2007, 01:17
Are the blanks the white keys or the black keys? What should you do if you don't have a grand piano? Are we there yet?

djarumdudley
26th June 2007, 02:34
not sure, but i'll need the last word for the remainder.

I have heard that some bank are willing to start taking payments written on the side of washing machines and there are plans afoot to have Automated Teller Machines that dispense grammophones as smaller change, but I fear that those days are well beyond my existance on this mortal coil.

CarlMetro
26th June 2007, 10:57
That's a shame because there's a road not far from me where there is a surplus of washing machines which could suddenly have a new lease of life.

Donney

My washing machine died yesterday. :(

CarlMetro
26th June 2007, 11:38
RIP Donney's washing machine ;(

When's the funneral? My toaster would like to attend.

I just hope you can afford the weighty mortgage needed to purchase a new one Donney. :( :)

CarlMetro
26th June 2007, 19:10
Perhaps we could have a whip-round? I'm sure I've got some odd bits of copper wire in my shed, you could sell that down the local scrap merchant. It might not bring much, but it's a start :)

Donney
26th June 2007, 19:21
Thanks a lot any contribution is appreciated. ;)

I have already replaced by a second hand Edesa Practica 4l-53, full-spec in typical shiny white. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/happy025.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

26th June 2007, 21:38
But what about the fun of going to the laundromat and watching the drier spin?

CarlMetro

Rollo

We have a thing at home called a Breville Pie Maker but it fails to live up to its moniker. Perhaps it would be better called a Breville Snacky Mess Maker because although it doesn't make pies all that well, the snacky messes that come out of it are top class.

Honestly, I must say the level of intellectual stimulation one gets from reading the posts here is appalling. The LW is ashamed to be associated with people like you.

It appreciates me though :D I save it from the depraved nature of this discussion, and take it to a sophisticated plane of thought.

I'll take the LW for a while since next week it is very likely that I won't have it at all.

DonnieDarco
27th June 2007, 11:21
And why is that Donney? I think we should be told :D

CarlMetro
27th June 2007, 11:30

Donney
27th June 2007, 12:04
And why is that Donney? I think we should be told :D

For I'll be going on holiday until the 8th of July. The Lw has been invited but does not like my destination.

Not a chance mate.

DonnieDarco
27th June 2007, 13:46
Firstly, I hope you have a lovely holiday, bring me back some cake :D

Secondly, what's wrong with the destination? Its not Swindon, is it? :D

And thirdly - how can we possibly have over 100 guests viewing word games?!? Something's amiss.

First: Thank you very much, about the cake.... if it's chocolate... I'm not sure if I'll resist temptation.

Second: Nothing wrong with the destination, I hope. It is not Swindon, it is Brighton. The problem is the LW is tired of British people (I wonder what you've all done to it) and therefore has politely declined the invitation :p

Thrid: We are the most interesting section of the forum, that is why, no mistakes there. :D

CarlMetro

All this first, second and third stuff has got the LW all confused so I'll take it over here for nice quiet lye down in a darkened room.

I'm going off to fill a sandwich with ham, mayo, lettuce, cucumber and cheese :D

And, who will I get rubber-banded to? Will I like them?

Yes ma'am, I'm arriving the 30th sometime in the morning :D

I hope it is lovely because I have just bought some pictures of Lizzy and Mr Darwin himself and damn, your currency is expensive  !!!

Other than that, and being aware of the stones issue, I am sure I'll enjoy my time there.

That's because we have good currency, none of that Euro crap :D

But I'm sure you'll have a great time. The lanes in Brighton are great to wander round and spend some of that lovely currency :D

Oh - And I think Brighton has a nudie beach somewhere, though why with all the stones, I do not know :D

LeonBrooke
28th June 2007, 23:25
How was the brief taste?

Rollo
29th June 2007, 01:59
Full of minty goodness?

A nudie beach in Brighton is obviously so people can get a tan from stading in the English rain. So people who claimed they were the Eggmen told me this.

CarlMetro
29th June 2007, 02:10
Minty goodness? No wholesome grain, four types to be exact, in my Cheerios :lips:

LeonBrooke
29th June 2007, 03:05
Apparently in Wellington you don't tan, you rust. Is it the same in Brighton?

Rollo
29th June 2007, 03:58
Nah, I imagine Brighton to be something like where I grew up (Blackpool) except with less day trippers and more old people (though Eastbourne is the home of old people).

Brighton is where you go if you want to look at piers that catch on fire and sink into the sea.

djarumdudley
29th June 2007, 04:37
sounds rather similar to the Brighton section of Brooklyn. perhaps we've exchanged long traveling piers across the Atlantic.
