There is a Fiat Punto Kit Car with homologation number A-5609 from 01 Feb 2000 (Extension number 02/01 VK). The car is build by NTechnology-Italy and it is with four throttle bodies. I would like to ask all of you for opinion. Is this car eligible to participate on the events of the European Rally Championship and the European Rally Cups?

Yes.. you can participate in both Champs. without any problem.

Tlustak from Czech Republic use to enter with a Saxo Kit car and there is no any problem.

Yes, it is possible to compete in the European Championship with Fiat Punto Kit Car. But I think that the car has to be modified in order to meet the regulations. You have to read Point 2 of this document:

This year Antonin Tlustak competes in ERC with Citroen Saxo Kit Car:

Yes, but I'm not good at mechanics, so I don't know what it means.

I can tell you that in last year's ELPA Rally a Greek driver Aris Iaveris and his Fiat Punto Kit Car finished in 8th position:

Maybe he knows something? ;)

Don't believe bulgarian scrutineers, they are wrong. We had problems with Tlustak's car last year, but only on Rally Bulgaria, because scrutineers didn't know their job...

Yes, there is! We've been disallowed several times to participate in the Bulgarian Rally Championship by the Bulgarian Federation of Motor Sports. Their official position is that the car must be with one throttle body and airbox - as in Super1600.

P.S. Would anyone, please, give me some contact details of Aris Iaveris and/or Michel Van Westing? I want to ask them if they are using a single-valve manifold.

Very strange situation...

What are the arguments they use? They say that you must be in S1600 rules :s

Its because the is many ex S1600 cars that still running as a S1600, but the truth is that if the car doesn't have the latest "jokers", the car can't be a S1600, it pass to be a Kit Car.

In Madeira we have some cars that on the list they appear as S1600 but the car isn't a S1600 anymore..

PS: sorry my English.. but I hope you can understand... and correct me if I'm wrong
